The food was amazing! My mom got a bacon breakfast burrito and I got the gluten-free fried chicken sandwich. It was one of the best fried chicken sandwiches I’ve ever had! Crispy, juicy, and gave me no gluten reaction. There are also a few arcade games and a rubber duck claw machine. It’s $3 for 6 tries and I got 2 ducks! Joyland is a must-go, especially for gluten-free girlies (they have a separate fryer)!

Checked out Joyland per recommendation from a friend and boy was I glad we did. The gluten free fried chicken sandwich was EASILY one of the best I have ever had. Genuinely have no words other than it was amazing, heavenly, everything and more I could have hoped for in gluten free fried chicken!! Already planning my next trip ‍♀️

I absolutely loved the Joyburger Deluxe! It was perfectly cheesy and saucy and the pickles and onions were a great contrast. The chicken sandwich was crispy and flavorful like homemade fried chicken thighs.
The curly fries were well seasoned but not very crispy which was sad. Fun environment and very tasty food but a little expensive for what you get.

The fries were good but the chicken sandwich was so bland. I wish that they had a different sauce or something on it. Or perhaps some seasoning on the chicken before it was fried. It was late at night so I would give them a try again to try the burgers. I just can’t eat beef really late so I chose the chicken. The burgers smelled really good though.

Parking:
Joyland does have parking available behind the restaurant, but it’s a paid lot about $3 per hour. If you’re trying to save money, there is some free street parking nearby, but you’ll have to get lucky with timing and availability.

Food:
I ordered the Deluxe Joy Burger, and while it was decent, it wasn’t anything mind-blowing. The real star of the meal was the curly fries crispy, flavorful, and just downright perfect. I’d go back just for those!

Service:
The staff was friendly and service was good overall no complaints there.

Overall Experience:
Joyland is definitely worth checking out at least once. It’s a fun vibe, good food, and solid service. That said, it’s not the kind of place I’d find myself coming back to regularly. More of a “been there, tried it” kind of spot.

We stopped here before the Zach Bryan concert in Nashville. The food was OK but it wasn’t worth the 35 dollar price for two combos. My burger was some type of smash burger. It didn’t seem like they seasoned the meat and just relied on the grilled onions and cheese to make the burger pop which it did not. My fries on the other hand were cooked perfectly. I love a good crinkled fry. It was good to find a new place try but I don’t think I’ll be visiting again. The atmosphere was good had a retro burger look combined with a modern look.

Our favorite stop on the Secret Food Tour! I am still DREAMING about the crustburger, and I need a whole one. The staff was super friendly and offered us a biscuit to try too.

Honestly so overhyped and disappointing. We spent 49 dollars on 2 burgers (one each, they only had 2 types) 2 curly fries and 2 milkshakes. The burgers were ok but nothing to rave about. The fries were just regular frozen curly fries, serving size was less than expected. The milkshakes were half full and tasted like freezer burn. For the price I would just go to cafe roze, burgers are 17 dollars each but comes a ton of fries. Worth so much more than the cost you will spend at joyland. They are one of the best in Nash. If ur craving something sweet after Tabla Rasa is right across the street with soft serve!

EDIT: the duck claw machine was the best part.

I’ve had better burgers elsewhere. It was good. Wife said her gluten free chicken sandwich was ok. Messed up the order of my daughter’s burger.

They are not big on customizing things however. We were told the chef created the items and he doesn’t like it to be edited. You may like it the way it comes, you may not. If you’re picky…may not be the place for you. They’ll take stuff you don’t want off, but they do not want to add things to it. Staff were nice though in explaining things though.

The crunchburger was so yummy!! I’m not a sauce person but the sauce they have was very tasty! We stopped here on a food tour of Nashville, which is why it’s a half burger. I’d definitely go back
