El Tizoncito on Frankfort absolutely nails breakfast burritos. Hands down some of the best I’ve had. The tortillas are warm and fresh, the portions are generous, and every bite is packed with flavor. The eggs are perfectly cooked, the meats are well-seasoned, and the salsa ties everything together without overpowering it.
It’s the kind of place where you can tell they care about doing the basics really well. Fast service, friendly staff, and consistently great food make this a go-to breakfast spot. If you’re craving a legit breakfast burrito that actually satisfies, El Tizoncito is the move. Highly recommend.

DELICIOUS!! I got the Botanas plate (mixed appetizer) as my meal and it was wonderful. Nachos were large and the meat seasoned so well, they obliged my request to make the quesadillas on corn, and the pickled vegetables and guac was great. The mango juice was also SO FRESH and not too sweet at all – very natural. Service was top-tier and they were very nice and quick with the service.

I ordered a 9oz margarita but was charged for a 14 oz which was not the size given to me. An extra dollar was charged to the pastor and bistec tacos. The food was bland and cold. Cebolittas were ordered like on the menu but was given onions soaked in teriyaki and soy sauce.

Was excited to try this place tonight and spent roughly around $50 for very low quality food. Not only were they very frigid and not friendly at all. They completely disregarded what I ordered which was 5 pastor tacos on corn tortillas with onions and peppers on the side. Simple right? No. The grilled onions were cooked in what appears to be soy sauce and our food was COLD AND BLAND. Very cold. I like to think of myself as a taqueria lover and I really wanted to like this place, but I am so underwhelmed with the food and service. It did not seem like we welcomed at all and I will never return to this place. I can make better tacos in my own kitchen. Save your money and go ELSEWHERE.

A friend located this little gem, and we’ve since been back several times. The ambience is lovely, the black bean soup is so delicious, and the whole menu is a delight. I ordered the choriqueso appetizer, which is pictured – it was fantastic! I also ordered the horchata, and love that they sprinkled cinnamon on top. The salsas are spicy and flavorful, and the brisket tacos (too hungry – no pic) were perfect. I can’t say enough about this place. I have yet to try the adult beverages, but intend to try the guavarita as soon as I can get back. I highly recommend giving it a shot.

The place was empty and calm when we came in late at night. The lady was patiently helping us with ordering the food and was sweet. The food since the first bite was oozing with deliciousness. The flavours were amazing and we couldn’t stop devouring it even though we were full. Meat is cooked good and the alambares, nachos, pulled pork taco and sopes are worth trying. Jamaica aguas frescas is great but not to everyone’s liking. The Elote was the show stopper. Never knew sweet corn cake can be this delicious.
