Went to Mitchell’s Steakhouse today to celebrate my son’s 22 birthday. First off our hostess Emma was top notch. Answered every question about the menu, made suggestions. She was awesome.
The food was to die for. My steak was cooked to perfection. I had a large party of 12, we didn’t feel rushed, everyone was relaxed, and had a great experience.

Grilled Cheese Gangsters
My husband & I came to Mitchell’s for Veterans Day. I’m so glad we did! We ordered the tomahawk steak for 2. It was perfectly cooked. The truffle Mac and cheese and scalloped potatoes was so good(Emma’s recommendations ). We were seated immediately. Emma was an amazing server. She was very attentive. She gave us recommendations and kept our glasses full. She made us Banana rum cake table side. Amazing!

A beautiful birthday experience. My mother and I celebrated our joint birthdays at the Columbus, Oh location this evening. Our waitress Tracy was attentive, knowledgeable, and thoughtful. A huge thank you to Tracy and the staff at Mitchell’s for making our birthdays memorable. Our meals and cocktails where delicious… we each had a new listed cocktail which where amazing and the steaks we ordered where cooked to perfection. The birthday desserts were over the top delicious!! Thank you to everyone and we highly recommend this restaurant!!!

This place has been very dead lately when we dined in. It also was very bright in the dining room. Not much privacy between tables. The server was okay although there were many forgotten items. Bread was never served and my drink was never offered a second one.

We dined in on Christmas Eve at Polaris Mitchell’s Steakhouse, and Brandon was hands down the best part of the entire experience. He was an exceptional server and truly went above and beyond—especially on a holiday. I’ve honestly never met a server who cared so deeply about his job. He took photos of our families, was incredibly attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcomed. It was a top-notch service experience, and we will absolutely be returning specifically to dine with him again.

That said, the food and atmosphere could use some improvement. We were seated in a darker dining area, while the main dining space was very bright for a Christmas Eve dinner. I did ask if the lights could be dimmed, but unfortunately no adjustment was ever made.

The food itself was fairly bland, and by that evening several items were already unavailable. For a holiday, I feel there should be an overflow of product, or at the very least this should be communicated ahead of time—either online or during the reservation process—so guests can decide in advance if they want the “special menu.” Adding a note to reservations that food is based on availability would set much clearer expectations.

Overall, Brandon made the night memorable and special, but the restaurant experience as a whole has room to improve.

Recently, we visited for our Valentine’s dinner and left feeling incredibly disappointed. We arrived to find they were running behind schedule. No worries—we were seated 20 minutes past our reservation time. Things started to look up as we had menus in hand, but it didn’t improve. Ten minutes later, our waiter finally arrived. He offered three types of water; we chose chilled, filtered water, along with two soft drinks. When our drinks arrived, we told him we were ready to order: one salad, two medium-rare steaks, and two baked potatoes. He kindly offered us bread while we waited. However, another ten minutes passed with no sign of our food. A server came to refill our water—only we hadn’t received any yet. The restaurant seemed overwhelmed, with too many customers and too few staff. As a manager passed by, I took the chance to share our frustrations, explaining the late seating, the unfulfilled water order, and the lack of attentiveness. He offered us a free dessert, which we gratefully accepted, though honestly, I just wanted the full experience and the meal we expected at a quality steakhouse like Mitchell’s. Eventually, our salads and water arrived—both delicious—and then our bread, which was excellent. Finally, our main courses arrived. My wife’s fillet was overcooked, while my ribeye was medium rare—neither a cut to brag about. Our baked potatoes were soft outside but undercooked inside, and shouldn’t have been served. Ready to leave, we asked for our steaks and dessert to go. The waiter packed everything up, handed us the bill, and I noticed we were charged $17 for the dessert, and received only a $13 discount. I requested to speak with a manager, explaining we’d been billed for something that was supposed to be free and we also hadn’t received the dessert. The manager rectified the bill, brought our dessert, and handed us cards for a free appetizer or dessert to encourage us back. I cannot recommend this restaurant, I hope this feedback helps improve the experience for future guests.

I had such a wonderful experience at Mitchell’s Steakhouse! From the moment I sat down, the service was warm, attentive, and genuine. Brian took such great care of our table and made the night feel special.

The food was absolutely delicious — everything from the appetizers to the entrées was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The portions were generous, and the flavors were spot on.

What stood out most to me was the personal touch. My receipt even had a handwritten “thank you” with my name, Savanna, on it — such a small gesture, but it made me feel so valued as a guest.

If you’re looking for a place to celebrate or just enjoy a fantastic meal with amazing service, Mitchell’s Steakhouse is it. I’ll definitely be back!
