You pretty much know what you can expect from Panera… what i didn’t expect, but absolutely appreciated, is the stellar service. Above and beyond, really… and it was the whole staff. I ordered online for our family of 6, so it’s already a larger order, but when I came to pick it up, I promptly left because it was ready, and the kids were hungry…. when I got home, 2 soups, a fruit cup and some cookies were not in the bag. So, I called to see if I missed another bag… and when the manger and I spoke, she said, no it’s something they didn’t complete, and I said I’ll come back to pick up the rest of the order. When I got back there, not only was the staff apologetic, they provided the food, some extra bread and chips and then some additional goodies that were wonderful…. but the biggest thing they provided, was kindness. And in today’s world, that’s better than anything we’re getting lately. This is by far one of the best Panera restaurants I’ve been in.

She promptly assisted me in correcting an order I had placed incorrectly and was more than happy to remake it. Throughout the process, she was professional, courteous, and an absolute pleasure to speak with.

Panera told me these burnt soufflés are ‘just how the oven’s been acting.’ Ma’am… the oven needs therapy, not customers paying $6.69.

The young lady working the drive thru was extremely helpful, pleasant, and kind. The sandwich was HORRIBLE! It was suppose to have chicken and bacon on it. It was ALL bread with a little piece of bacon. Not a place I recommend or will be returning to! Go to McDonald’s. At least you get what you paid for!!

I will never go back to this location again, they sold me some undercooked bagels again, first couple time I went to this location, everything was good, but I guess it be the baker that day cause these last 2 times I went to this location, the bagels were undercooked and the employees told me there were fine, just the dough they had…and now this location in Southfield on Telegraph I will never attend again.. 10/25/25 Panara need to check there employees from this date. They’re not right and I spent over $18..smh.. never again.

I love Panera so much! I am obsessed with the Mediterranean salad! Have been really sick and is the first time I can eat ii on a while, it’s just so disappointing that the first salad that I ate is full of FREEZE Chicken! It was just so disgusting, I don’t think I will eat this salad again

Since the Southfield stretch of telegraph road doesn’t have much good food options. Healthier lunch spot than Chic Fila or Popeye. This is probably the best place to get lunch and dinner with good value. I don’t like their bakery, Meijer taste better. Sandwiches and soups have pretty good portion with decent price in today’s economy
I like the online ordering system where I can pick up my lunch once I walk in.
Panera bread won’t be making fresh bread anymore so this will be the last time I will come here for lunch. I should be supporting local deli anyway.

Checked out by Mikkialia through the drive through. Was the only car in the drive through and somehow managed to wait 15 minutes while watching Mikkialia on her phone the whole time. When asked what was taking so long she stated, “should be up soon he’s wrapping it up”. There was no guy prepping my order. She was taking some type of exam or quiz while preparing orders. Will not be coming back.

I went through the drive through today around 5pm. There was a really nice gentleman who took my order and gave it to me. I wish I would have asked his name. He made my day such a blessing so much that he doesn’t even know. I hope this message gets to him. Just being kind is not always something I get going through a drive through along with my order. He deserves praise for his kindness and service with a smile.

While it gets very busy during lunch (like any Panera in a business location) David and Chris did a phenomenal job maintaining composure, moving fast, and managing customers orders. Both certainly deserve recognition for handling the lunch rush with such composure (at least externally )
