I don’t typically gravitate toward eateries that have an assembly line ordering system, but I decided to tag along with my wife, who enjoys them. To my surprise, I was pleasantly impressed. The food was great, and the helpful staff made the ordering process easy.
There were plenty of healthy ingredients available for building your own bowl, which many customers were taking advantage of. I chose to try the Spicy Lamb Meatball Pita and instantly fell in love with it, especially the skhug sauce, which not only added a nice little kick, but is also really fun to say. SKOOG!

Would give 6 stars if I could, amazing experience. Food was delicious and well portioned. My cashier( I think his name was Bibby) was very nice. They gave a great recommendation for what to get. Will definitely become a regular.

portions are large and fresh, been to other locations but keep coming back to this one as the staff is really friendly and welcoming which i cant say for all locations in richmond. my favorite cashier has like a nose piercing i think his name is Bibbi. i will always drive a little father when i get off of church just becuase this cava is so consistent with good service!

I visited this location today and ordered a bowl. While going down the line, one of the team members assisting me appeared frustrated, which made the interaction feel uncomfortable.
At the end of the line, I asked about pita chip flavors and was told it would be about a five-minute wait. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the extra time, so I decided to proceed without them.
I understand that things can get busy, but I hope future interactions can feel a bit more welcoming and patient, especially when customers are simply asking questions or working within time constraints. Overall, I appreciate the food quality and hope the service experience improves.

Great place to get your healthy Mediterranean inspired lunch or dinner. Food was great, tasty and healthy. Gets pricey really fast. Without any actual service other than just providing production line service. Line “serving” was fast. Don’t get any add on items and price could be normal. Much better than other fast food places.

Extremely disappointed with my experience. The food was overly salty, and when I politely asked about it, the tall guy at the billing section responded by carelessly filling my entire bowl with green sauce and tahini — without even addressing the issue properly. It was completely unnecessary and showed a lack of basic customer service and common sense. For a place serving food, it’s important to have someone professional and trained at the billing and food counter. This kind of behavior can turn customers away, no matter how good the brand is.

I usually enjoy Cava very much, but the short pump location fell short. The young lady working the line didn’t even speak and seemed annoyed to fill my order. The steak was tough and several pieces were inedible. The location itself is lovely and seemed clean and well maintained.
