The main issues began once I received my food. The pita bread was extremely dry and tasted like pizza crust from Little Caesar’s. My main dish was worse — the rice was soggy and mushy, and the vegetables tasted frozen rather than fresh. I can tell the difference, as I grew up eating that brand.
Unfortunately, that wasn’t the worst part. When I cut into my fish, it was raw — and I had already taken a few bites. I immediately brought this to the hostess’s attention. She was a small, middle-aged woman who completely disregarded my concerns about both the raw fish and the vegetables and instead began arguing with me. She then asked who I believe was the owner to verify my complaint.
To my surprise, the owner was extremely kind and helpful. He confirmed that the fish was indeed raw, apologized, and offered dessert while assuring me he would address the issue in the kitchen. Although I appreciated his effort, I had already lost my appetite and politely declined.
Despite this, the hostess attempted to make my friend pay for his meal even though he did not eat it due to the poor quality. As we were leaving, she continued questioning me and even asked if I had ever had Greek food before — which was incredibly rude and dismissive, especially given what had occurred.
I made it clear that I was not trying to bash the restaurant. Constructive feedback should help improve a business, not be taken personally. Good service starts with accountability and respect.
I wasn’t planning on writing a review, but my family encouraged me to do so to help others avoid getting sick. My stomach is now hurting, and I’m extremely disappointed. I’ve also noticed that whoever manages the online reviews tends to argue with customers rather than address their concerns, which is completely unprofessional.
I will be including photos as well. That concludes my review.
He really cares about every guest having a wonderful time. We were so immersed in the experience and enjoyed everything so much that we forgot to take pictures.
My husbands Lamb Gyro was overflowing with tender lamb, just the right amount of tomatoes, red onion and refreshing Tziki. The Greek fries were deliciously seasoned and just crispy on the outside. Perfect!
My Lamb Souvlaki was incredibly tender and mouthwatering. Hot fresh pita bread pared with cool tziki was sooooo good.
Dessert was an experience!
Fresh baked Greek custard I couldn’t begin to pronounce. The thinnest Phyllo layers filled with the freshest most divine custard topped with phyllo and dusted with powdered sugar perfection beyond belief. Resting on sweet syrup nectar.
Unbelievable meal!
Truly.
This gem never disappoints!

Thank you so much for taking the time to sit with us and personally introduce yourself. It was truly a pleasure meeting you. Your hospitality and genuine passion for Greek cuisine were both refreshing and inspiring.
My wife and I ordered the chopped lamb during our lunch at Atheneos, and we thoroughly enjoyed every bite. It was not just a meal, it was an experience that deepened our appreciation for the rich flavors and traditions of Greek food.
We greatly appreciated your warm welcome and the opportunity to learn more about what makes your restaurant special. Wishing you continued success. Your dedication and kindness are sure to leave a lasting impression on every guest. – Isaac
The gyro meat was very good, still the pita was the star. Thick fluffy and soft. Served warm it was great. The fries were crispy. Perfectly cooked and not greedy.
If you want the gyro sandwich and are there during lunch, get the lunch special, keep the salad and order the whole pita (uncut).
Drinks aren’t self serve even though it looks like it.
