I grew up in Edison and have been going to the other location for years. Now that I moved to the area I decided to try out this location. The sandwich tasted the same but the customer service was terrible. I took a few minutes to decide what I wanted and the lady behind the counter became visibly irritated. Kind of made me feel like she did not want me there. So I won’t be coming back.

We have been here for over a year and love the roast beef to death. It is never a fast food for us since sandwich here is packed with many beef slices and less sodium. Not even mention that everyone here is fast and nice. Highly highly recommend.

Iconic sub shop, has been here and serving since I was a kid. Stop with big chains joints, they don’t compare to the size, quality and the bread!!!.. Toppings are always fresh and a great selection of chips to pair with any sandwiches. Definitely my top 5 places to go, with their other shop in Edison also.

Not the sub shop it used to be. My son’s salami looks way too old to be on a fresh sub, onions are sliced way too thick compared to back in the good ol days and oil and vinegar was put on the side, not the sub. Way too much lettuce- I guess that’s to hide the way the meat and cheese isn’t plentiful like it used to be.
Bread is still delightful on a positive note.

I have heard good things about this chain sub shop so had to try it. When I arrived I parked in thie small parking area. They were super busy on NYE but they moved quick. I wanted a hot sub but they didn’t served hot subs except for the meatball, so I went with the turkey. I ordered the 1/2 turkey with mayo, mustard, lettuce, tomato, oil and vinegar. They had a system going so it went quick. The sub was pretty big for only a little over $6 and paid with credit. When I got home I dug in and the sub was pretty good. I would like to try the tuna next time. FYI: wheat bread is an additional cost.

Been coming here about 20 years and never had an issue until today. I was eating in my car in the back gravel lot (no lines), parked in the middle like people usually do so cars can still loop through.
A woman pulled in and, despite there being plenty of room to drive around, parked facing me directly in front of my driver-side door. She honked and waved like she wanted me to move. I held up my sandwich to show I was eating, and she sped off across the gravel and repositioned to the front of my truck, basically forcing me to back up and turn around just to leave. Then she flipped me off. I assumed she was just some random angry person. Turns out she was an employee, because she walked inside and started her shift.
I called the number listed online to ask if there’s a preferred way customers should park back there, and the guy hung up, then blocked my calls. Food’s been good for years, but the behavior today was childish and unprofessional.

I went this morning and ordered a cheese sub and also an oven roasted turkey sub and my family member and I both enjoyed them. I’ve come here various times over the years since I was a kid and I always look forward to getting a sub from here.
I like that whole wheat bread is available as a healthier option, and their potato salad side is yummy.
I don’t eat meat now so I appreciate that there is a cheese sub on the menu. They also have a tuna salad sub. If they added another vegetarian option, like an egg salad sub, I would come more often!

This is the best sub shop in NJ. The bread is fresh, and the restaurant is very clean. All sandwiches are made to order. They have a rewards system and you earn points with each purchase. They even send reminders when points are expiring. I love how courteous the employees are here and they always make my sandwiches properly. Prices are decent.
