We are customers of chipotle because we love it. This review will be about one specific location because everywhere else has been amazing.

Today I had the worst experience at the Custer road location in 6111 Custer Road Frisco, TX. I walked in and one employee was making another employee a burrito. I waited because another employee was at the cash register, two more were cooking and one was texting on her phone next to me.

The employee told the employee making her burrito to mix her sallad in the burrito really good. Then she asked her to do it again. It was for no apparent reason and I was standing there waiting as though I was not there. I finally spoke up and said you keep mixing another employees salad while a paying customer is waiting. I said: Can I please get some service? I was ignored and looked at like I was crazy for expecting to receive service by the employees.

Then the employee wrapped the other employees burrito and broke it. She said whoops let me get another tortilla. At this point she was purposely not serving me. The man at the register realized and said just give me the wrap and I’ll fix it, go make the customers bowl.

My bowl was made with an attitude and no apology. Meanwhile the other employee is still texting next to me on her phone.

As I paid I confirmed with the employee at the register that they were open. He said yes. So I said you need to serve your customers, and the woman texting should probably stop texting and work.

The only people working were the two older men in the back making the meat.

I’m still in shock. This is the laziest and worst interaction I have ever had at a chipotle. Zero stars. Every single one of those employees should be let go except the men cooking in the back.

For a little while, this location was decent, but the last time I ordered made me so angry that I actually turned into a Karen for a minute. I online ordered a salad, but as you can see from the photos, salad where?? I had to drive all the way back to the store to get what I ordered. The teenager at the counter then had the audacity to argue with me, saying that those were the correct portion sizes, and it wasn’t until I started to actually push back that she tried to offer to add more veggies. Another employee could see me getting frustrated and had to jump in, offering to remake it for me. I work in customer service, so I never lose my cool on service employees because I know how much it sucks to be the target of everyone else’s bad day. This time, I felt so disrespected as a customer that I actually asked for my money back, which I had to call corporate for. They REALLY did not want to give me my $12 back, trying to get me to agree to a free meal coupon, instead. The whole experience left such a bad mark in my memory that I don’t think I will ever patron another Chipotle, as this isn’t the first time something like this has happened.

I don’t fully blame the employees, they’re basically all kids doing their best, but I do believe that the portion sizes are shrinking due to corporate greed and that this experience was the result of some regional manager saying to stop filling the bowls so full. Regardless, I won’t be back. To this location or any other, for that matter.

I don’t understand all the bad reviews here! We ordered Veg Burrito Bowl with everything and Barbacoa with everything except guac.

The bowls was packed with plenty of food. Me and My SO loved the bowls and the salsa packed a punch, especially the spicy one.

Although the stations and cooking grill could use some cleaning, but I could see that they were short staffed

Shout out to the employee working the online orders during the BOGO before thanksgiving! Dude was doing the best he could and he was doing it great. obviously there was a wait but he was doing the orders in order and even letting customers know that some items weren’t available anymore. This chipotle in particular is honestly the smallest one I’ve been too and there was sooooo many people and he was patient and fast and good at his job.

Food was great! I have not ordered from chipotle in about a year due to previous service issues, but I will say the service has improved. Still not the most friendliest when you’re picking up a to go order but at least was not rude as in the past, and the food was great.

Picked up the chicken quesadilla at this location. The worst quesadilla ever had. The piece in the picture is even before a bite. What was the employee thinking? Horrible.
It seems an employee did have a bad day and played/messed with the customers’ order. Not acceptable. Just speechless.

I always have a great experience at Chipotle. The ingredients are fresh, the portions are generous, and everything tastes amazing. The staff keeps the line moving quickly and still takes the time to make sure your order is perfect. There’s obviously a reason this location is receiving low review scores. We can start with the manager serving today who should be briefed in actual management skills. I kept giving this location a chance for the convenience and ability to run here on my breaks to pick up a better alternative for my kiddos. Every order has been less than satisfactory, from the food quality, and lack there of. This location serves lower portions, and the bag of chips are barely filled. I let it slide about a week ago because I’m TOO BUSY to complain. But today, I showed the manager around 4:30pm my bag of chips was underwhelming, she’s combative instead of solution based, grabbed my bag of chips, opened it and told me the portion is correct. The kids cups given are not as advertised online, and the food is always a miss. Finally, I will not be back. As a Supervisor for Corporate correspondence, I deal with complaints all day, and always make it right with my medallion passengers. This location keeps dropping the ball, with no attempt to make it better. I’m writing corporate as well, which is above you sweetie (since you said you’ll get to my complaint when you can, DO BETTER). I also asked about the queso being served this way in cardboard trays doesn’t suffice, it should be in a container, SLOPPY SERVICE.
