Bavaro’s Pizza Napoletana & Pastaria has a lot to offer at somewhat reasonable prices. The crust, which is crafted in a manner that allows Gluten Free intolerant (not Celiac) to consume a traditional pizza. The pizza suffered a little from too much grease, but was otherwise tasty. The bolognese pasta dish was very nice and plentiful in terms of the portion. The table bread was very fresh and tasty. Overall, a nice spot for a pizza or pasta dish in the afternoon.

I ordered their margarita pizza, one of my go-to’s when I try a new pizza place…

The margarita pizza was great!
The crust had the perfect char without sacrificing the perfectly baked dough…

I couldn’t ask for better red sauce or cheese…
It was also the perfect mix of ingredients for a truly tasty lunch…

If you’re ever in downtown St. Petersburg, . This place will be a delightful treat for one of the best margarita pizzas I’ve ever had.

Food was really good! Had the bruschetta and tre-carne pizza to share with one other person. The price for the amount was honestly so worth it because if it cost any more than it did, it wouldnt have been enough of a portion. The meat and content of the pizza was so tender and flavorful while the crust was crunchy crispy and airy all at the same time. Ambiance was also nice and our waitress was not bad!

My people and I decided we would def come back here again but we just had an unfortunate incident of leaving a debit card and having to come back for it, and then when we picked the debit card up, a suspected scam/fraud transaction happened a few hours later so that was upsetting….

This was our first time eating at Bavaro’s and I just wish we had gone sooner! From the simple but elegant decor, to the service, to the fresh made pasta, fresh made in house sauces, the Margherita pizza, the bread, Caesar salad, EVERYTHING was fabulous! Our server Destiny was so knowledgeable, attentive and super friendly. I’m Sicilian and generally don’t eat much Italian out of the house and everything hit the mark here. The flavor profile in every dish was on point. This is one of our new favorite spots!

I’ve frequented Bavaro’s many times in the past and have even brought out-of-town guests here because I used to enjoy the experience, which makes this visit even more disappointing.

I made a reservation for an outside table for a party of four, but when we checked in, the hostess told us they had oversold reservations and made a mistake. Instead of making any real effort to fix the situation, we were seated inside at a cramped table meant for a different parry. The hostess couldn’t have cared less about the inconvenience.

The entire meal was uncomfortable. I spent most of the night being elbowed by the man seated behind me because the tables were packed so tightly together.

They ran out of wine glasses for the bottle of wine we ordered. Because there was barely no room on the table, the bottle of wine and water were placed on the floor, which was eventually kicked over by another patron.

Our server, Bella, provided very sub-par service and seemed completely uninterested in whether we were having a decent experience. Overall, the staff seemed indifferent to the chaos and discomfort around us.

Between the overcrowding, careless service, and lack of basic attention to guests, it was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. Sadly, after this visit, we will not be returning.

Amazing meal with great staff! Sat at the bar as a solo diner and was greeted instantly and treated like a rockstar. My seat at the bar allowed me to watch the chef prepare the meals and I watched her make mine and it was 10 out of 10 all day long

This quaint and charming eatery has one of the best tiramisu’s and woodfired pizzas I have had. The staff was engaging and polite and made wonderful recommendations of other available items on the menu.

The smell was incredible walking into the restaurant. There were a few places left to sit at the end of lunch rush outside and at the bar.

I started with a more common item on the menu because if you’re great at that, you shouldn’t have a bad experience overall.

The time between order and service I was expecting to be a little longer because it was being made fresh to order was less than expected,

Bravo on expedition for the kitchen staff. I will say you could tell from the food it wasn’t rushed. The flavor left me with a feeling of something like what grandma would have put her heart into it.

I will definitely be back to try more of the menu. I’m looking forward to some of the wine pairing suggestions as well.

Came here to try a restaurant on the Offline App. Food was delivered quickly meatballs were good, pizza tasty but unfortunate that the bottom of the crust does not hold up to the toppings. It was soft, floppy and toppings wanted to slide off. It’s a brick oven pizza so you would expect a crispy crust on more than just the top exposed dough. I did enjoy the spritz options. The Hugo was refreshing and light. Overall a pleasant experience but there is a lot of competition for good Italian.
