Went to hear with a few friends who convinced me to order from the senior menu with them. It would be good if you are a senior who isn’t very hungry and doesn’t care about presentation.
Other than that, it was fine. Coffee was pretty good and feeling frequently. It’s easy to talk. Is there a decent amount of breakfast choices.

We went for the Saturday Breakfast buffet. They did a great job keeping food stocked and fresh. I rated service a 5 not from the number of servers but because of the awesome job the limited staff did. The young man who served our table was good even though it looked like he was covering half the restaurant. We’ll definitely go back, but I hope they can hire at least one more worker.

Went out for dinner at Big Boys on Sunday evening and it did not disappoint. The turkey dinner and chicken parmesan with spaghetti was very good and nice n hot when it arrived. Our server, Twaun, did a great job! He’s very detail oriented and he made sure we had everything needed for a great meal.

I just needed a quiet moment so I stopped by and was seated. Service was great even though I started with coffee only my Server was very attentive to me she stopped by often with refills and took my order for a light meal. The meal was quick to arrive and was amazing! They worked together as a great team! Worth the stop for sure!

It’s been awhile since I’ve eaten at a big boy. There are none left where I live. There seemed to be a fair number in Michigan though. We were there for the breakfast buffet and were not disappointed. There was a nice selection of hot foods. And for those times when you want to pretend to be eating healthy there were plenty of fruit and other healthy breakfast items available. I like the bacon and the various sausages. The biscuits were delicious. The gravy was a little bland. Overall a great way to have a great breakfast buffet. Service was excellent and the place was very clean. Everyone was friendly. It was just overall a very pleasant experience.

– Big Boy (burger) – ($0.99 with Pop special): The Tuesday before Thanksgiving, they had a deal where you buy a pop and you get a Big Boy burger for $0.99. That was why I came. The burger was well done and less appealing, but for the price, I am not complaining. The Big Boy sauce is similar to 1000 Island Dressing, but is distinctly their own.
– Best Cheeseburger on the Planet – $13.49: Not the best, but close and VERY good! I had one bite with just a bit too much Big Boy sauce, but the rest was well balanced and full of savory goodness. The burger was cooked a little above medium, super juicy good, and a good quality meat. The toppings were fresh.
– Fries – (with burger): Not a lot of salt, but tasty enough without needing salt. Steak fries, but maybe a little smaller. Some were crispy good, but most of it was soft and delicious. If you get your burger without fries, it is $1 cheaper. Get the fries. It is well worth $1.
– Service: VERY helpful and on top. It was on the busier side, but they were well prepared for it. We were seated immediately, orders taken quickly, and the food arrived in a very reasonable amount of time. Pops were always full until we said we were done and the check came quickly. No complaints with service.
– Atmosphere: Nostalgic diner style with some modern flavors which harkens back to its 1936 roots. Has it been almost 90 years?? It was kept up fairly cleanly. The booths were on the smaller side, but not bad and were in great shape. There was some construction in the front on the inside going on when we stopped. Maybe some small upgrades?
– Conclusion: I’d go back for their larger burgers for sure! Everything was great in our experience. We were early enough to actually smell breakfast and it smelled really good! Might have to keep that in mind.

Came for breakfast on a Saturday morning with two children. Was seated right away even though a number of people were in the restaurant. A server immediately took our order and it was made and brought out very quickly. It was delicious and our server was very attentive to if we needed anything further as we were eating. Definitely will be coming back another time to try lunch and dinner as well.

Service was horrible and I wouldn’t feed the food they had at the breakfast bar to my dog they charge you full price for the bar but we’re out of half of the things we asked the server to refill the bar he told us they won’t have it till the next Tuesday. This place is a joke.

The only thing disappointing about Big Boy is the disappearing locations. Its such a nostalgic treat when we find a random Big Boy during our travels. This location was no exception and I must say that we will be back! Our waiter was such a nice young fella with superior service talents. Keanu stayed on point from the moment we walked in the door we felt a warm welcome! The cherry on top was when he asked us if we would like a coffee or water to go as he delivered our check! Of course the food was delicious too! Perfect place for a couple when one person wants breakfast and the other wants lunch. Best of both worlds!! See you again soon!
