It was good but just average. The type of place that we are glad we tried but wouldn’t insist on taking someone too.
The burritos were huge and tasty. The hard shell tacos were good. The beans were average. The chips and salsa to start with weren’t good.

The place is clean. Staff were friendly. The food was not our favorite. I ordered the Chilaquiles at Dinner time and the sauce had no flavor other than “hotness,” I could taste watery salsa tortillas. My eggs were easy over/sunny side up, but there was still some white undercooked. Presentation is authentic to Mexican style, but a little messy. They did ask if everything was ok multiple times and I appreciate that! Unfortunately it was not to our liking, but I paid and left.

If you are looking for authentic Mexican food this is the best place in Conroe!!! Red and Green salsa are always on point, menudo is fantastic and street tacos are always amazing!!! We drive all the way from Montgomery to eat here and pass up all the other commercial mexican restaurants to get a real meal. So thank you for staying authentic as I have been eating here for many years and have never been disappointed with anything!! See you next time!!

Second time I’ve came and the rice was awful both times. The first time it was hard and crunchy and this time it tasted like water mush absolutely no flavor. When mentioned to the server she took my entire plate and returned with a plate full of rice. I was confused I told her I’m missing everything that was on my plate. She returned with another plate of beans and lettuce. Still confused on how she took my entire plate that I barely touched and the chicken refused to make my fajitas chicken. Spoke with manager because it was still on my receipt. Had them remove it .

I had a very frustrating experience with this restaurant. On my first visit, I received the wrong order. I was told I could not get a refund unless I physically returned to the restaurant, so I accepted a credit instead. When I came back to redeem that credit and ordered the exact same meal, not only was I charged $7 more for the same item, but the order was still wrong. Over 37 dollars for 8 tacos!!
I contacted Deisi for help, and I was told that the owner would only refund a topping on my tacos rather than the tacos itself—even though it was incorrect again. At this point, I’ve contacted my bank to dispute the charge. I will not be returning.

10/10 for authentic Mexican food! The salsa was amazing! Chips come hot and fresh. The barbacoa was perfectly cooked – was not greasy or fatty at all. The fajita and cheese quesadillas were great! We also had a tripa taco and it comes cut up in fine pieces! Making it easy to eat so much flavor. I had the chilaquiles verdes – great taste! I wish the chips were a little bit harder but overall fantastic! I would highly recommend.

I gave this place a second try. Definitely, it is a no from me. I got the chimichanga. It was not crispy at all! Soggy and very little meat. The calgo was good according to my friend but the rice was not good either. We also got a barbacoa taco and a tripa Taco. Not good, either. Service is great, though. Waiters are very attentive. I just wish was better.

This place was great till they accused me of putting my own hair in the food. Mind you, I have shoulder-length hair as does my friend who was with me and her boyfriend is bald. I presented the plate with the hair in it to the waitress, and she was like, “Let me see,” as if she didn’t believe me. Then proceeded to go have show and tell with it and brought back the manager. The manager with her hand on her hip says and I quote “well you ate off the plate, I know what you people do, idk you could have pulled your hair off your head and cut it, none of my workers have hair. The meat is gone on the plate.” All the while my mouth is on the ground because I can’t believe she just made up a whole story in her mind about me pulling a hair off my head, cutting it, holding on to it, and then pulling it out to cause a scene. Like I was so appalled and off put. I was so ready to call the city and inspector on them just because she offended me so badly. Worst experience ever. I hate having to give one star to any place. The lady charged me for the plate and took like 6 dollars off the ticket. Again, guys, I can’t make this up…. I was so shocked. I didn’t know what to say. I wish so bad I had taken a picture of the plate before sending it off. The plate was almost complete. 75% still there, and she was saying that because the meat was missing, we made the whole thing up. I was like, what? Lol, I paid it and got out fast and in a hurry.
