I come here pretty frequently for good music and great food, but last night was the best service I ever received at this establishment. Aside from the music creating a great vibe with carribean and afro beats, the food tasted so amazing as always with the perfect amount of flavors so they aren’t too overpowering but just enough. With Solana as my waitress she helped me feel so much more comfortable especially because l was dining alone which led to her conversing with me regularly throughout the night. Her service was superb and anytime I asked for something it was done in a timely manner. I can’t forget about the two bartenders Gabby and Vegas who had me feeling GREAT by the end of the night! Those are two lovely ladies who were so sweet are were so welcoming once I had switched to the bar area, plus their drinks??? Amazing. Lastly, my hookah girl Kay was just the cherry of top. I typically go to dyckman for good hookah but once I seen the tissue around the pipe of the hookah I knew it was gna be bussin, and she didn’t disappoint. All of these lovely ladies were the reason I had such an amazing night and I hope to see them again at my next outing at the shaking crab.

I came here to celebrate my sister’s birthday yesterday and overall it was a great experience. The service was amazing truly top-tier. From the moment we walked in, everyone was respectful, welcoming, and professional.
Now listen… the music was loud loud omg, my ears were ringing but aside from that, the music itself was good and definitely set the vibe.
The food? So good. You can never go wrong with snow crab, shrimp, potatoes, and broccoli drenched in a good sauce. The garlic bread was delicious and honestly didn’t even need the extra butter on the side I ate it just like that and it was perfect.
I do want to mention that I’m not really a fan of crawfish, clams, or mussels. I did try the crawfish no offense at all to the kitchen crew but I’ll definitely be sticking to what I know and love next time. 🙂 That said, Yes, it is a bit on the pricey side, I’m still excited to come back and try other items on the menu.
One of my favorite parts was that they offer hookah. I’m a hookah girl, so that was really the icing on the cake for me. As for the drinks, I didn’t try everything lol, but the one I had was really good.
I also want to give a shout out to the kitchen crew and the servers who brought out the food everyone was delightful, and very presentable. Even the security guard at the door was polite and welcoming. When you walk into a place where everyone carries themselves professionally, it makes you want to come back and continue to support the business.

Food was really delicious, especially the shaking rice and barlic noodles. They give good size portions even the kids meal was a decently sized. The drinks were good and strong, the rum punch pitcher was well worth $20. The dj was amazing wish we woulda came a little later to get the full atmosphere.The only kind of negative was implementing a mandatory 18% tip. People tip based on service, while the service was ok ( serve could have smiled more her affleck was flat, and wasnt totally knowledgeable about the menu) , you should let the customer determine what they want to give.

This food was terrible. I ordered a boil with a 1/2 lb shrimp, 1/2 lb scallops, broccoli, noodles, and sausage. I chose the “Shaking” sauce. For some reason there was no seasoning and the scallops were tough. The rest of the table also did not like their food. It either came out cold, overcooked, or whatever. Absolutely disappointing way to celebrate a great man’s birthday. If automatically charging 18% gratuity means the food is coming out tasting like that, I won’t be back there or anywhere with that rule. The person who chose this place is not allowed to choose ever again. The only thing good was the DJ. We should’ve left when a group of four left after sitting down for 5mins. I’m mad at myself for even paying for this food.

I went to this location with my 12 and 7 year old grandchild also my 2 adult kids. Employees where rude and disrespectful. I asked to change the music as it was not appropriate for a 5pm dinner with kids. T he staff laughed and danced while watching me . Management came and honestly was no help . Paid $285 for service and food my family didnt enjoy because we left. Don’t recommend this restaurant food was worth the money either .

The Henny colada was a 10/10. Went on a Saturday live Dj although kind of loud was an added vibe to this place. The service was amazing. I got the Deep ocean for 1 58$ definitely NOT worth the price could have been a 25/30$ price. The food portions do not add up. It’s a cute place for a simple outing.

The food was great, had the deep ocean seafood boil, medium hot barlic sauce! So tasty. Also the Cajun fries were very flavorful. I had a pina coladi, consistency was perfect. Music was good – Caribbean vibes. Overall we enjoyed ourselves!!
