The music was great, the food was delicious, and we came during happy hour, which was such a nice bonus — the shumai were only $7, while everywhere else they’re usually around $20!
The interior is beautiful — there’s a bonsai tree in the center and lovely sakura decor all around. Everything felt stylish and cozy.
Definitely coming back!
Long Overdue Review!
As a local Google Guide, I can confidently say that Susaki is the BEST Sushi in Boca Raton!
I’ve been a loyal customer for years, dining in and getting takeout probably more than 20 times, and the food has always been consistently excellent.
On my last visit, I was especially impressed and amazed by their updated menu. They have brilliantly incorporated an infusion of different cultural flavors into their main recipes, and the new dishes we tried were absolutely delicious.
Their menu is vast and eclectic—you will certainly not be bored! There is plenty to choose from, and everything we have tried has been exceptional.
The service has been continually and consistently good as well, which is a major part of the overall positive experience.
If you are looking for the absolute best, most reliable, and innovative Japanese cuisine in Boca Raton, look no further than Susaki!
The service was a bit slow and they seemed more focused on delivery orders than on the customers dining inside.
Even so, it’s definitely a beautiful, cozy place with excellent food.
The moment I walked in, the lights shimmered, the music hit just right, and the universe whispered, “You’re in the right place.” But nothing—nothing—prepared me for the legend behind the bar.
Nathan.
The bartender.
The mixology maestro.
The liquid alchemist himself.
This man didn’t just make drinks. He crafted dreams in a glass.
I ordered a lychee sake mojito, expecting something good… but what Nathan placed in front of me was nothing short of miraculous. The drink was so refreshing, so perfectly balanced, so unbelievably divine that for a moment I questioned whether I had ever truly lived before this sip.
The lychee was floral and bright. The sake? Smooth like a silk robe in a luxury spa. The mint? So fresh I’m convinced he picked it from some secret garden in the back. I swear I heard angels hum when the straw touched my lips.
The food? Immaculate. The vibe? Impeccable. The service? Legendary.
If you’re in Boca Raton and you don’t stop by Sushi Sake, honestly… what are you even doing with your life?
Go. Sit at the bar. Ask for Nathan. Order the lychee sake mojito.
And prepare to transcend.
The menu is incredible, every time we go, we try a different chef recommendation, dessert and a different cocktail.
However, they can improve the cocktails because there is a lot of ice. But everything is just perfect.
Lately, we’ve been trying other places. A lot of spots are stepping up with better quality, more creative menus, and lower prices. The sushi and rice here just aren’t what they used to be, and the drop in quality has been noticeable every time. That said, it still holds up pretty well compared to other places nearby when it comes to hibachi. Not the best, but definitely still good.
