Paulters is a must try if you’re in the area! We love coming here. Feels like you take a step back in time every time you come.
You can come for lunch or dinner, but most people are coming for dessert! The food here is very good with a pretty straightforward menu. The Super Steak Sandwich is delicious! So are the chicken tenders!
Definitely save room for dessert, though. The soft serve is a must, and they have tons of other ice cream options and flavors to satisfy everyone! When you can see the line from the road, that says it all.
Tons of parking and a big outside playground for kids. Grab a picnic table outside and enjoy the evening! Tuesday’s during the summer they have a car show on property that’s free to check out, which is awesome. Paulters is a great time with great food!

Everything you would expect from a vintage drive – in! The food is fresh and tasty. The ice cream service window is fast! I love this place for Sunday family fun the kids can play on the very large playground on site! Great for an evening out with adults that doesn’t include alcohol! They are open until 10 pm! A full hour later than most ice cream places!!

Been coming here for years. The owner is so very kind, the sweetest woman ever honestly. The young staff is always attentive, kind, and run the business with efficiency. Pautlers is the best!

My cheeseburger was way overcooked even though their website says that they are cooked to medium well. For $11.45 it’s pricey for a dried out burger. My husband’s hotdogs had too much relish and other condiments that he had to scrape off & Pautler’s doesn’t have the red relish that he likes. My husband’s vanilla milkshake was one of the best in the area. Creamy and enough vanilla syrup to make it great!

Pautler’s has been a staple on Transit Road for as long as I can remember. I’ve been going there for about 20 years. They added a big covered outdoor seating area during the pandemic, which was a great idea, and the indoor dining is still super spacious. My kids used to love the playground when they were little. In the summer, they’ll often have classic car shows in the lot, and it’s just a great place to hang out and enjoy a cone. It’s got that small-town feel that’s hard to find these days.

Went for ice cream tonight and asked the girl at the counter a simple question regarding there small as it was the baby size last year…she rolled her eyes and walked away …like really? We are a paying customer and had a question as we use to come here often. I thought this was a family friendly restaurant. This is why we will not be coming back. I think the staff needs a customer service training.

First time here and I will not be in a rush to come back. There were things I liked about it but for the $$$$ not worth it to me. We had a large order , 3 kids meal, one chicken taco salad, two Galvin burgers, one steak fry, two curley fries, 5 large drinks and 1 med, 2 sides of Texas sauce and 5 sides of cheese. They heard the order wrong for 2 of the kids meal and gave us grilled cheeses instead of chicken fingers. The person taking my complaint said that’s what it said on the receipt, then proceeded to tell the cooks that we needed chicken fingers instead of the grilled cheeses that were ordered. The lady was semi rude about it . The Texas sauce had no flavor at all. The consistency of it was good and it was on the savory side. The Galvin burgers were a nice big burger with bbq and cheddar cheese slice and onion rings, my only complaint about the burger is that there wasn’t enough bbq on it. There was also a beef on weck on the tray that I don’t think we ordered. I didn’t get a receipt so I’m not sure if we paid for it or not. After dinner we got ice cream. The ice cream was $$$ and tiny. 2 milk shakes, 1 banana split, small twist w sprinkles, 1 small vanilla w sprinkles, 1 jr vanilla w sprinkles, 1 tutu fruiti, and caramel cloud Sunday. I think I was the only one that was very unsatisfied. I had the banana split. The chocolate sauce and the strawberry were the fakest, cheapest and most generic I have ever tasted. I didn’t even really taste the pineapple to give more of an opinion on it. The amount of ice cream given were 3 tiny lumps hidden by whipped cream, so I didn’t really notice if the ice cream had good flavor or not. The banana was fresh and ripe. The tuto fruiti also had that same generic fake strawberry sauce. It is nice that they have a semi large playground for the kids. However, Over all I would not come to this place again.

Burgers are often way overcooked. My burger today was so dry it cracked, and they still gave it to me. Isn’t someone supposed to be making sure quality is consistent? I spent 17.00 on burger and fries. The least you can do is make sure it’s edible.
