Waterfront spot in wickford village. Outdoor seating was quite pleasant with harbor view on beautiful Sunday afternoon.
– Prince Edward Island mussels $25
Sautéed mussels served in garlic butter sauce with caramelized onions, tomatoes, garlic bread. Full of flavor and tasty, but a bit too salty and mussels were rather small. Garlic bread was perfectly grilled, unlike most places serving them hard as a brick!
-Avocado chicken $26
Cilantro lime marinated grilled chicken rubbed with spices, over coconut bacon scallion jasmine rice, avocado corn salad.
Was delightful, small portion though.
-Fish & chips $20
Liked how it was lightly battered and fresh, but again small portion.
Would love to return to sit at the bar for drinks with harbor view.

The food was absolutely fabulous…hats off to the chef. I had fish tacos with a crispy slaw and a mango salsa and my sister-in-law law had the fish with jasmine rice and broccoli. We both had the lemon raspberry cheese cake for dessert.
Our server was sweet, helpful and around just enough.
We sat out on the water for a late afternoon lunch and thoroughly enjoyed the view. The boats in the harbor were beautiful and we enjoyed the wilfe a d flora as well.

Everything was really good with nice presentation and great service. Cocktails were very well done also and tasted great. Atmosphere is very clean and comfortable with great views.

To sum it up in one word- disappointing! The host staff were excellent and so was the wait staff. Very attentive to our needs whether it be water refills, beer refills, or simply clearing empty plates. Unfortunately the food overall was a huge disappointment. The only item that was good was the loaded tater tots. The balsamic calamari was soggy and chewy. Seared tuna tacos were quite bland although the tuna was seared perfectly. The fish tacos were equally bland with literally a handful of cabbage on top of fried fish strips. It desperately needed something to spice it up or bring out some flavor other than fried fish because the Mango salsa was only a spoonful of cubed mango. The tequila lime chicken was decent but again seemed to be missing a boost which the lime crema did not provide. For dessert we all split a slice of chocolate cake and key lime pie. The chocolate cake was good because it was not too sweet. And all of us enjoyed the key lime pie immensely. Overall I would easily trade the ambience of eating by the water for an tasty meal…

Found another gem this weekend. As is our habit now, my father-in-law and I went out for a drive exploring new places. On the way back we stopped for a late lunch at Wickford on the Water.
Valet parking out front made it much easier for my mobility-impaired FIL to get in the restaurant. Big for having valet service.
We started outside on the harborside dock and on a better day this would’ve been beautiful. Rain, however, drove us inside. But there was nothing disappointing about the move indoors. We found a quaint, nautically themed dining room.
We both started with the New England Clam Chowder. I had the Blackened Cod on a bed of white rice with seasoned broccoli and Dad had the Summer Grilled Cheese with bacon & tomato.
We both agreed the Chowder was a winner. Creamy with the right amount of clams and a healthy portion.
My Cod was one of the best pieces of fish I’ve had in quite some time. It tasted like they had just reeled it in off the docks in back. And while I’m not normally a big fan of broccoli, the seasoning and grated cheese on top made it a net plus on an already fantastic plate.
Dad’s grilled cheese (Swiss & Brie) was in his words “the best grilled cheese I’ve ever had”.

Our second visit, and we loved it again.
We had various dishes of seafood and meat, and everything was really good.
The hot lobster roll was delicious.
The cod was really good too, as well as the fish and chips. And the burger was tender and juicy.
I had 2 different cocktails, and they were well balanced

Beautiful view of Wickford marina/inlet, waitress and assistant were good. Mussels very flavorful and cooked perfectly, my son’s chowder also very good. He loved his mahi mahi sandwich, my wife and I enjoyed the blackened cod with coconut rice and broccoli.

We absolutely love coming here! It is a must whenever we are in town. The food is great and the staff are always friendly! You can’t beat dining on their beautiful outdoor deck and patio. We even love to bring our dog along! Highly recommend for good food, views, and drinks!

The lobster wedge salad had lots of blue cheese dressing, lots of blue cheese crumble, and lots of bacon- that included lots of fatty bacon bits. I picked those out. The lobster was delicious. The mussels were my favorite- so delicious but be warned they were very salty- I like salt and even I thought they were a bit too salty. The bread that was served with the mussels was perfect! The strawberry salad was standard (it had a glaze on it plus the vinaigrette on the side. I would definitely return for the mussels. We let our server know that the chef should know the mussels were VERY salty- we’ll see about next time. The drinks were strong, good, but I needed a bit more pineapple juice to manage finishing mine. The key lime pie was fantastic!
