The food and interior were good.

However, the customer service was very disappointing.
About five minutes after we left, we came back because our child seemed to have lost their hat. We simply asked if they could check with the staff member who had cleaned the area where we were sitting.
Even after standing there for over 15 minutes, they just kept saying “please wait” without ever asking the staff.

I weren’t asking for compensation—just a simple question to the cleaner about whether they had seen the hat. I can’t understand why that was so difficult.

I love this place and after eating there actually looked up to see if I could buy stock…because I think it’s that good. The menu is unique and the food is fresh tasting. The managers and staff are above and beyond in terms of customer service. I have an autoimmune issue and have to eat gluten free, dairy free and try to avoid certain cooking oils. It’s such a hassle and I avoid eating out as it’s embarrassing (I hate having to ask all sorts of questions and have my meal made custom- to leave out ingredients). Anyway, every time I have been here they have been super accommodating. The managers are superb and the staff is friendly. I tried a different location last time I was in the city and found that experience the same. I hope this place catches on and expands as I’d love to have it as an option in more locations.

This is a wonderful restaurant for dining in or takeout. There was a small line right at lunch when I came to order but I got through it in no time at all. There was plenty of indoor seating but I chose a spot outside where it was less noisy and more comfortable.

I ordered a huge burrito and needed to use a knife and fork because it was quite unwieldy. One of the best features of Dos Coyotes is its salsa bar with a wide variety of flavors to choose from. They pair nicely with the included chips and help add flavor to the many dishes available.

Come here if you want good food quickly and cheaply. It’s well worth trying to find parking at a busy hour in the small parking lot outside.

We have eaten here maybe 7 or 8 times. Everytime it is amazing! The prices are very reasonable and the food tastes fresh and full of flavor. The potato tacos are soooo good! My husband ordered the mahi burrito yesterday and said it was incredible. The staff is always friendly as well! It is counter-order which my family also appreciates. Seriously, this place is great!

Stopped by for lunch and was impressed by the menu size. I ordered off the special seasonal menu & had the crunchy enchiladas and they were amazing. The restaurant is nice and good location. Great outdoor seating. Awesome selection in salsa bar.

4/5 as I expected more flavor. Wasn’t enough spices/flavor as I expected. Would be back to try again in future.

My wife and I often stopped for Chicken Yucatan salads. We ordered two last week and the chipotle cream sauce tasted like Mayonnaise. The salads were awful. I am always amazed when restaurants self destruct.

Dos Coyotes Border Cafe serves up fresh southwestern, TexMex cuisine in a casual, family friendly atmosphere. The Dos in Folsom has a relatively large dining room. Additionally they have a patio dining area. It’s shaded by the trees along the Willow Creek walking trail. Dos is great for large groups not only because of the seating but also of its menu options and counter service. They even have a kid’s menu.

The food is delicious. It has a fresh look and taste, lots of flavor. The seasonal menu items are innovative with a farm to fork focus. My favorites in the regular menu are the Crispy Bobby Tacos and the Potato Tacos.

The shredded beef, in the Bobby Tacos, is delicious and fork shreddable tender. Yum. The potato in the potato tacos are griddled and served open face topped with a cilantro ranch cabbage slaw. The slaw had a drizzle of the dressing so it wasn’t drenched in it. But darn, the combo was tasty. I opted to have the sour cream and gauc served on the side so my taco didn’t get mushy. You can add pulled pork to the potato tacos for an added charge of 85 cents each.

The salsa bar is quite impressive. Lots of choices in mild, medium, and hot spice levels. All the salsas are fresh made. But they don’t give out complimentary chips besides the handful given with each entree plate. However a basket of chips is $1.50.

If you are sensitive to noise level, the dining room acoustics amplify noise. Oddly, it can get loud in there even when everyone is speaking at a normal volume.

Another cool tidbit is that the Red Bull statue in front of Dos is kinetic. The head moves. If you can reach, give it a tap.

My goto place for great Mexican food around. I have been visiting this place for around 10 years now and they never disappoint. I love ordering different Enchiladas and burritos. Their sauces are always top notch.
