Kayla M. was THE BEST!!! She was so consistent with checking in whenever she had a chance. She was so knowledgeable about the menu, gave us great size estimations for portions, and amazing descriptions of the drinks! (As someone who doesn’t drink often, this was a wonderful plus and she recommended me the Berry Boozy, a sweeter strawberry marg.)

We ordered both the Wagyu Chorizo and Street Corn queso fundidos which were both a 10/10, however we had waited a bit for our second one as a few big parties came in and Kayla was super transparent and accommodating. Martie, the manager additionally came and addressed that with us, gave us each (only 2 people) a free appetizer card, and comped our dessert for the wait on the queso fundido! Amazing customer service across the board!

Martie also recommended that we come in for brunch and that we try the Korean Fried Chicken Wings which we almost ordered. We did try the birria empanadas which were packed SO full of meat and very cheesy! (Pictures of all food included.) For dessert, we ordered the Hummingbird Cake which was the perfect sweet finish to the meal!

Wait time was only around 5 minutes after 5pm on a Saturday, lots of seating and the patio area is gorgeous with super comfortable, cushioned outdoor chairs. The atmosphere was very vibrant with the decor and music. It was a bit on the louder side but not loud enough to yell over any noise or anything.

Overall it was an 11/10 experience, I would give them more stars if I could! Definitely recommend and will be back soon!

Everything was great! I tried the birria empanadas, the jerk chicken taco, the fundido dip and a classic margarita. Every item I tried was excellent and worth going back for. I only tried the classic margarita, but they had an extensive tequila menu with a variety of different styles of drinks that I intend on going back to try in the future! Parking was easy, the restaurant is located inside a shopping center with a huge parking lot attached. The prices were very reasonable as well. A great place to meet up with friends or go for a date. They had a bar as well as standard seating options.

Great experience! Loved the friendliness of the servers and hostesses. Made us feel right at home as visitors from out of town. Highlight of the night was the Umami Steak taco, queso, and the drinks! The other three tacos we got were okay but not something I would get again (Hot Honey Chicken, Wagyu Cheeseburger, Shrimp tacos). Would recommend the strawberry rhubarb and jalapeño pineapple margaritas!!

Agave Social, as well as Pineapple Hospitality Group’s other three restaurants with different names and menus, have convincingly dialed-in the concept of good food, drinks and fun. Our immediate area is genuinely fortunate they opened here; there’s really nowhere else quite like them this far north. You shouldn’t mistake this as a traditional Mexican restaurant (no burrito, enchilada or fajitas), though that’s certainly their inspiration. Think mostly tacos, salads, bowls and one very good burger (their menu is easily found online). On weekends they serve a different, five-item brunch menu that still manages to offer something for everyone. I’d suggest that “Social” may be the stronger influence here, so much so that reservations for an evening visit are advisable to avoid a long wait or disappointment. We’ve dined here for lunch at least six times, have explored the menu well, and have never left disappointed, especially once we knew what to expect (or not to expect). Be certain to check their “Blackboard Specials” menu as they seem to always be creating something new to try. The cocktail menu is creative and satisfying, but dominated by tequila-based drinks. Additionally, there appears to be an all-day happy hour. Food always comes plated beautifully and service is generally very attentive and well-meaning. There’s both inside and a generous portion of covered outside dining just far enough away from Dale Mabry to be pleasant. It’s not unusual to see large parties here who are invariably happy and boisterous. While that’s not a bad thing, this may not be the place for an intimate, romantic dinner. So, yeah, you should definitely try Agave Social. Maybe go for lunch to quietly get to know the place, then return to see how popular they are at night. And if we’re lucky, maybe they’ll soon open one of their other restaurants “way up here.”

Alli was our waitress. So welcoming and attentive. The food was delicious. We ordered the Notorious PIG taco, hot honey chicken taco, and the Jerk Chicken. Jerk chicken was bomb. Others good. The Empanadas were amazing! We also had the margarita flight. You can tell everything was fresh. Highly recommend.

From the moment I arrived at Agava Social, I felt genuinely welcomed. I came around lunchtime on a Wednesday and although it wasn’t packed, it had a great energy with a nice crowd. I chose to sit outside on their covered patio since the weather was beautiful, the ambiance was perfect for a relaxing lunch.

I was greeted by my waitress, Ali, who was incredibly friendly and attentive. I mentioned it was my first time visiting, and she was more than happy to offer recommendations. She explained that everything is made to order, which immediately told me I was in for a fresh and flavorful experience.

I really appreciated the mocktail selection.. I had a cucumber-based drink (I wish I remembered the name!) and it was so refreshing and well-balanced. For food, I went with Ali’s recommendation to start with the shareable Fundido, and WOW… it was amazing! Creamy, flavorful, with just the right kick of spice.

Next, I ordered a variety of tacos: grouper, honey chicken, volcano shrimp, and island jerk chicken. They were all delicious, but the grouper taco was my personal favorite. The jerk chicken taco is best eaten first before it gets soggy, fair warning!

To top off the great experience, Ali let the manager, Bailey, know it was our first visit. Bailey came over to personally check in, thank us for coming, and genuinely made us feel appreciated. That extra touch made the visit even more memorable.

Overall, the food, service, and atmosphere were all 10/10. I will absolutely be back… and I’ll be asking for Ali again because she made the experience outstanding. If you’re thinking of visiting, don’t hesitate… Agava Social is a must-try!

From the moment I walked in, the hostess was so warm and welcoming — such a great first impression! The bartender, Allie, was absolutely amazing. She crafted the most incredible cocktails — even ones that weren’t on the menu — and truly knows how to shake things up! Martie, the manager on duty, was so attentive and sweet, checking in to make sure everything was perfect.

The food was phenomenal — a delicious blend of Asian and Latin American flavors that worked beautifully together. I had the grouper taco and the hibachi taco, and both were packed with flavor. The “High Rolling Rita” and Allie’s custom “Coconut Concoction” were the perfect pairings.

If you’re looking for a place with great vibes, incredible service, and creative food and drinks — this spot is a must!

This is the place to go! We went on a Tuesday not realizing it was taco Tuesday lol but it was perfect! It was definitely crowded, but we were seated immediately! There is seating inside as well as the he patio and that is where we sat! It was such a vibe! The food was amazing. The drinks were amazing and the staff was amazing! I can’t wait to go back and try something else because the food was so good! I recommend if you go you sit in the heated patio because it feels the same as it does inside, but it is much more of a vibe. If you’re looking for a more quiet dining experience, the inside is the place for you. I’m so glad we chose the heated patio because it was great!

This is my new go-to place! Absolutely loved every dish and drink we tried. Did the margarita flight – incredible! Nachos are out of this world! We also loved the Dubai chocolate Churros. Asked if we could split a plate and they beautifully plated it for us instead of making us split it ourselves – such a nice touch. Excellent survive, overall atmosphere, & speed of everything. Will be coming back!
