They are always insanely busy so if you aren’t willing to be patient, don’t go. The staff are always friendly and the food is great! Any time I’ve ever had an issue they are quick to try to help and fix it! The managers Logan and Dawson are always so extremely helpful and great with their staff. I love seeing managers treating their staff great!

I unfortunately eat more McDonald’s than I like to but both the ones in Freeport Illinois are my favorite. Their service is great and the food is always cooked and delivered perfectly. I never worry if anything is undercooked or if fries are gonna be brown or sitting out. Always perfectly done!! I appreciate that more than you know. However every so often there’s a mistake but you still never disappoint.

This McDonald’s is the second busiest one I’ve ever seen besides Chicago’s Rock-and-roll location. The team that works there do a great job of getting orders right and fresh! Thankful too they are now 24 hours.

What an incredibly disappointing experience I had today. I stopped into McDonald’s for literally just a small soft drink (which was free using my Monopoly reward from the app) And waited over 15 minutes with no service and not one single employee so much as looked me in the eyes, let alone attempted to help me. I heard a manager say something along the lines of “those drinks should not still be on the screen” and yet I still waited for 10 minutes after that. Will NOT be back to this location.

To update my review. This company really needs to start looking into how they treat customers and how to read the orders correctly.
I just spent almost $50 on food and door dash.
When it got here, it was all wrong.
So instead of work with me. This rude person on the phone told me they were closed and that id have to contact door dash.
I ordered from your store! And YOU got it wrong. NOT door dash.
It’s no wonder McDonald’s is struggling.. this is pathetic..
Normally don’t have any issues.. however. The app doesn’t tell you if the location is closed. So I ordered with the last bit of money I had.. and now I don’t get my food as the location is closed, and I can’t just take the order to the other location as it’ll be refunded in 24 hours.. I didn’t want a refund.. I wanted my food. Fix the app or at least push a notification when a location is closed.

Waited almost 45mins in the drive thru. Was super busy. But the employees still had a smile on their face and stayed friendly even though you could tell they were stressed and under staffed. Kudos

Well Hello Beautiful People in Freeport, I don’t understand why Freeport has a McDonald’s. I see Freeport has two McDonald’s here and I have tried them both and sadly in order to review you have to give an establishment at least one star. I’m so Sorry. The first one I tried the website said they were Open and when I got there they were Closed. So I tried this one….hmmm….sadly they were very busy ( I don’t Understand Why) and after waiting 45 minutes for a Drive Thru order that was only missing a medium order of fries and sitting in the car watching several people receiving their food I had to go into the establishment to find my food??? I took many pictures to show when my order was placed and didn’t get my order until after 6PM because the manager said she couldn’t even find my order. So she remade my order off the receipt I gave her to show I did in fact pay for three orders. I couldn’t believe the service and I now understand why most locals in Freeport will tell you Culver’s is the Best place to eat in this town. I guess if you go there I hope you have a better experience than myself. Have a great day and good Luck

This McDonald’s is always closing earlier then the sign and online says. It will be random days also. I never know if you guys are going to be opened or closed. Tried to come in 1hr before you guys say it closed but it was already closed. That is some bull crap.
