We stopped here while we were visiting TR. It’s a very cute restaurant with really good food! They have a lot of comfort foods. I got a cream of mushroom soup to start. It was the best cream of mushroom soup I’ve ever had! I honestly wouldn’t have minded having a second bowl! I got the French dip sandwich as my entree. I’ve never had that type of sandwich before, but I thought it was very good! The au jus was VERY good! Our server was very sweet and attentive! If you’re ever in Travelers Rest, I recommend stopping here for a nice early dinner!

The service was excellent, and there is some indoor and outdoor seating. A nice little place, although outside seating is a bit loud when cars are driving by.

We had such an enjoyable and relaxing lunch there today! We arrived at 11am, when they open.
Our server, Alexis, was super friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. We really liked the look of their burgers and patio seating so we ordered 2 burgers and mozzarella sticks outside. Firstly, I’ve never had such large and delicious mozzarella sticks in my life! We had marinara (which was unfortunately served cold) as well as an order of ranch to dip. Both sauces were excellent and tasted house-made, although we didn’t ask.
We ordered the TR Jumbo Burger (Medium Well temp) and the Big Buffalo Burger (Medium temp). The flavors and temps for each burger were spot-on. Our server highly recommended the tater tots which we both ordered. Those tots were so good… Almost as good as the burgers which set the bar pretty high!
Overall, highly recommend!

Everything was delicious! We had the French onion soup, turkey sandwich, and grilled chicken sandwich. I added pimento cheese and jalapeños to the chicken sandwich and it was awesome; excellent pimento cheese! The sweet potato chips were crispy and perfectly salty. The service was great and the prices were extremely reasonable. I will definitely be back!

I get it, its TR. The bar is low. That doesn’t mean you cant raise it. The atmosphere is just bland. There’s a bar area and a more “restaurant” side that’s separated by a probably 5 foot tall wall. There are some TVs in the bar but it’s nothing special. The service was friendly but slow. Now on to the food. The salad was the most basic salad you can get. The dressing is just a Sams club dressing. The potato skins were undercooked. The cheese was nicely melted. Can we discuss the prices for just a second? A side of dried out mashed potatoes…$6.25. A baked potato…$6.25. Spoiler alert ⚠️ neither item cures cancer. The people i went with enjoyed their meals. The greens were pretty good! My mashed potatoes were DRY. My cordon blue was so overcooked it was like jerky. There was barely any sauce on it. Dont be fooled by the picture on the menu. Thats not what you’re going to get. Also, the picture isn’t the same potatoes. Its also shown with green beans and it comes with greens. Lol. $25/pp. was a robbery for this mediocre meal. Positive note…they do some great work in the community i was told. I love supporting businesses that do good in the community. I won’t be supporting this one again until they give me the quality I’m paying for.

Atmosphere was clean and it was not super busy when we arrived for dinner but food did take a hot minute to come out and the wings in the other other were barely warm.
On the food side- lacked A LOT of flavor overall. I ordered the French dip and the au jus was super thin (I’m not sure how else to describe it) and super super bland. I guess I’m used to it being a little thicker and having a more enhanced flavor in it
For my side, I ordered the home style mashed potatoes. Texture was light and airy and almost melt in your mouth. On the con side, it tasted like mashed sweet potatoes were mixed in. No flavor except for the sweet potato-like taste. I had to add my own salt and pepper to get at least something.
Sweet tea was SUPER sweet. One sip and my mouth was dry and didn’t feel good after. I had to water it down A LOT

I ordered the Cuban sandwich and it was delivered with not much of a wait.
The half & half tea had a great flavor.
The Cuban sandwich was delicious and I had half left over for dinner.

Varied menu selections (burgers, salads, pizza, pasta, entrees, kids menu). Most of us had seafood and enjoyed our selections. Not too much for those on a vegan or vegetarian diet — there is a veggie burger option. Friendly prompt service.
