We had such an awesome time! I have been to other locations while living in ATX and DFW area, and truthfully I’m confident to say this one has been the best I’ve gone to. I’ve been in Waco for a while now and kept meaning to go. Well, I should’ve gone sooner. The food was amazing, hot, and very good quality. The service we got was on point. Maribel (hope I spelled correctly) was on top of it! Anything we needed or any time we had to return to the counter she stopped what she doing to ensure we were taken care of. The playground area was very nice and well maintained. The whole place was super clean, and I didn’t even feel the need to sanitize every single surface before the kids touched it. Shout out to the team members for genuinely caring for their workspace. Trash bins, counters, seating areas, and open kitchen all looked great. I was super impressed. We will add this to our regular spots to visit. See you again soon!

It is fancy fast food. Better quality than Wendy’s or Chick-fil-a but not so much better that the prices much higher.
Service was great, you can tell they hire friendly faces, since they are a family restaurant. It is definitely designed to a place for parents to hang out and have a drink while their kids have a safe place to play.
Hard plastic style playground that was very well mainted, and clean. On a super cushy astro turf pad. Heaters on the outdoor porch and roll up plastic walls to keep out light weather. Great year round half in half outdoor playground.
Shakes are great, the large is LARGE, and the grasshopper is way too green. The spicy sauce by the fountain and the one on the southwest burger are not spicey but they are good. The other sauces were too sweet for my taste. Pickles are thick and the fired pickles aha e the perfect amount of batter. Fries have a mild cajun apice that is great and they still taste good even after they cool. Tota were good.
Kids meal hot dog & chicken nuggets were really good though the fruit cup is Mandarin oranges in syrup not fresh fruit.
Try the salads and the sweet potato fries next.

The burger and sweet potato fries were delicious ( generous servings). Prices are reasonable. Staff were friendly and seemed to be enjoying their job. It was a bit noisy. But with all the kiddos there that is to be expected. The outdoor dining by the playground is definitely a good idea. Overall a pleasant experience. Will definitely go back.

Ordered the Southwest. Solid burger. Fries were fresh and well seasoned. Dipping sauces were unique and tasty. The kicker for me is being able eat without interruption while the kids were all over this playground. If I lived closer, I would definitely visit more often.

The food is way over priced for what you get. Fries are very small serving with a ton of seasoning. You can tell they are frozen pre-seasoned fries. The cost of a combo meal is around $14-$15. You could do better at most fast food restaurants. The salad is small and runs $13.

Hat Creek Waco is an awesome place for families. We took our granddaughters, ages 5 and 3. They loved the food and the playground. My wife and I enjoyed everything, especially the fried pickles. The staff was super friendly and fun. They looked like they were enjoying their work and that made us as guests enjoy it even more. Five stars.

Atmosphere was nice and it was clean. It wasn’t crowded and they do offer outdoor seating with a kids play area.
I ordered the tater tots and they were quite delicious and they offer several different dipping sauces. I personally enjoyed just the ketchup.
The burger was nice and juicy with bacon no lettuce but they have several on the menu.
If you are in the area and you just want a burger stop in and grab one!!

Love this place and I absolutely love the Keto bowls. The people are wonderful and the service is great.
There is a place for the kids to play and they even have happy hour! You can sit inside or out. It is a great place for the kids. The parents can watch the kids play and still have a little time for themselves with some great food and drinks!

When I went to the drive-through, I ordered a grilled cheese and it was the most bland disgusting thing I’ve ever tasted in my entire life . They for real put down 2 hamburger buns and a slice of cheese and called it a day. I am very disappointed in this and I Will not be returning soon. The meal was overpriced and I’m not going to eat any of this. Do better.
