We came here for Valentine’s Day and the food was so good and everyone there was very friendly and sweet! I believe our servers name was Aaliyah and she was great! The pizza was 10/10 and we loved the aesthetic. It wasn’t too busy at all and it felt chill and cozy. We definitely plan on coming back to try some of the other pizzas and items!

Stopped in for dinner. The atmosphere is good with a good vibe. Loved the grunge music that was playing, and there were plenty of TVs to watch sports. The service was good. Good selection of unique pizzas, or build your own. Everyone was happy with the food. Would definitely stop in here again.

The Mellow Mushroom has been around for many decades serving solid pizza.
It isn’t artisan pizza, more a high quality family pizza kind of place. That said they do have a pretty solid fresh fluffy crust, with puffy edges and a light texture.
The atmosphere is bright, clean, with gentle neon lighting vibes.
The service was friendly and when something got messed up with our order they went out of their way to make sure that it was right.
They didn’t have a huge variety of toppings, but it also isn’t the kind of place that only has mushrooms, green peppers, and onions. They had garlic roasted red peppers, pineapple, artichoke hearts, Kalamata olives, and a handful of other interesting toppings.
The Strawberry Lemon-Limeaid was tasty, although way too sugary for an adult pallet until a good chunk of the ice melted into it. It apparently is made with fresh real strawberry and actually tasted like real citrus.
A good place for basic pizza with picky family members.

Restaurant was clean and was a good atmosphere. I ordered Buffalo Chicken pizza and Meaty pizza which were both very good. Wife had a cheeseburger and spud puppies (tater tots). All in all everything was great just a little on the expensive side.

Even if you order a small it’s enough for 2. The Veggie didn’t have enough flavor but the Da Vinci pie was the best! Great flavor and meatballs in the pie was a good addition with less than the typical pizza sauce l.

I cannot tell you the last time I had chain pizza this good. Went to Mellow Mushroom and were really impressed! Long review to follow. Short review: we’ll be coming back.
So glad we started with the Elevated Cobb Salad. The chicken and bacon were hot and delicious, but by the time our pizza arrived, we were nearly stuffed at one piece each. The only downside of the Cobb is that it’s not available in a small, but this salad is a meal in itself.
The Merry Prankster was great; the crust had the perfect crunch and chew in each bite. A delicious combo of freshly sliced chicken, crumbled Italian sausage, fresh and roasted peppers, and the perfect amount of cheese topped by an herb aioli really made this pizza pop.
On top of a truly satisfying dinner, our server, Taylor, was helpful and attentive and there were multiple TVs broadcasting the #STLCards game. Pepper flakes, parm, salt, and pepper were on each table, and a convenient outlet in each booth makes charging your phone a breeze. Shockingly enjoyable experience at this chain restaurant, one I’d be happy to have again.

We ordered pizza from here for my son’s 9th birthday party. We choose Mellow Mushroom because we have a few gluten-free family members. The gluten-free pizzas turned out great.
However, the two large regular crust pizzas we ordered were both burned. Unfortunately, as it was for his birthday party and the burned crust was only discovered after serving, we had to make do. I took the survey the next day, and received a canned response with a $10 coupon. That was really disappointing as I had spent about $50 on the two large pizzas. I waited a few days hoping to receive a non-automated response, but it’s Friday and nothing.
From 2024: The pizza is tasty, and the large is HUGE! They have allergy friendly options such as a gluten free crust and dairy free cheese. It’s a place where my whole family can find food that is safe. I do feel like they are a little on the pricey side, but it’s not high enough that we won’t visit for an occasional splurge.

First time eating here and everything was amazing only thing was we had to waot like 10 minutes but it wasn’t that bad. The food was so amazing the service was top notch the pizza we got was the house special and cheese bread! Everything is fresh and delicious pizza tasted delicious I got full off one piece Bill was our waiter he was very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. I highly recommend to anyone to come here.

We went to Mellow in Branson with 18 people and got our food quicker than we did with 4 people in Mid Rivers on a not so busy night. We were given salads with no forks and had to wait several minutes to find someone who could grab us some. The same thing happened to the table behind us! We gave them our extras when we finally got some, which were plastic forks. When we asked for silverware the hostess was so confused and asked, what do you mean? Maybe it was an off night, but don’t plan on going back.
