After working a unscheduled 15½ hours, feeling tired yet hungry… 11pm I decided to go to Waffle House for some late dinner/breakfast. The Service was wonderful, nice, friendly, pleasant and welcoming. The food smelled good, looked good & tasted great! The atmosphere was very very welcoming, nice & clean!! This has to be the cleanest, friendliest WF I have ever visited. To start off, Josh was amazing and is a great cook. He took the time to give my wife his recommendations on what to order as it was her first time at a WF. You could tell he takes pride in his cooking. He even offered to split in half our order as my wife doesn’t eat cheese. He also went out of his way to give her a hat which she loved. His attention to detail was outstanding. He kept the kitchen very clean and his charisma was contagious. We really enjoyed having him cook our food. The waitress, Sandy, was also amazing. She kept the tables spotless and was super friendly. She was attentive and quick. From the moment we walked in, I noticed how clean the tables and the kitchen were. Every table had menus already set up which stood out to me. The floors were clean and the atmosphere was great. I am very please with our visit and will definitely will be going back because of Josh and Sandy. They were both great. They deserve best cook and waitress awards. The food was also great!

The meal / entree I get here is the bacon / scrambled egg & cheese toaster sandwich. waffle hard /burnt and I asked for waffle lite / bacon medium & bread lite not burnt.. But the thing I don’t like is sometimes the cashier hosts, and how this elderly lady likes to put condiments on the inside of my container on the food “cross contamination-I don’t know where these condiments been & neither do you, please stop putting condiments in the container on the food!!!!!” Hell Timmy could have dropped that pack of ketchup/syrup on the floor and put it back in the box or on the counter & you got it & placed in on my food..

I have lived in the Jacksonville area for over 30 years. I frequently would go to Waffle House there. Tonight my wife and I ate dinner there. It was THEE worst service and food I have ever had there. Over medium eggs was over cookeda lot. Bacon was burnt. Hash browns used to have a lot of cheddar cheese mixed in. Now ONE freaking slice of processed cheese. Even the coffee was cold. Waiter never offered refills on our drinks. Table did not have sugar or napkins. Was never offered jelly for our toast. Overall, to put it nicely, stunk worse than a poll cat.

I came to Waffle House for the first time in a long time. Dominic waited us and he did a really good job. He got us seated and got our hot food out fast and drinks. The manager was really sweet and chatted with us too.Surprisingly the store looked really clean too. Those guys were awesome definitely coming back!!!

This location is the one of the best, for sure! From the moment I walked through the door, I felt welcome. Ronald, Sentry, Josh, Drew, and Sherley did everything they could to make my dining experience pleasant. I had the bacon, egg, and cheese bowl, over grits, and a side of biscuits and gravy. The restaurant was clean, and well organized. The food was amazing. Portions were generous, and the price was reasonable. Will definitely be back!
