I loved the name and logo so I had to check it out. The exterior of the building and the parking lot were functional but very plain–but I proceeded inside. Great choice! Inside was spacious, fun decorations, filling up with happy diners and friendly staff. No table service, but the line to order was short and fast. I was in a hurry because I had a tee time at Mustang Creek Golf Course. No problem! I was out the door in 20 minutes. I ordered their BLT on Texas Toast and French fries. Excellent and fresh! I’ll be back.

Tried a couple things from here – buffalo chicken and catfish basket, both were pretty average, simple flavours and fish was dry too. How it works: you place your order, they take your name and give you an empty cup for you to fill up with drink at the drinks station, they’ll call your name over loud speaker when your order’s ready so you pick up at the counter – no table service. Staff were friendly at the counter. Clean dining area, lots of space and seats.

My experience was nice. The manager came and talked to me while I waited, she was super sweet and down to earth. We talked about the unique photos on the wall…I loved them. I would love to see more black people there. Maybe that’s a me thing) That was the only thing that made me feel a little uncomfortable. ♀️ The food was good. I’d go back again.

ADA wheelchair accessible. No patio so leave the fur babies atm home. Sunday brunch is always packed but other days are easy to find seating. Seat yourself and order at the counter. Hidden away but should give it a try. Photos included.. a lot of fried foods…

Visited our favorite eatery on Friday afternoon, ample seating, very clean tables. We had the 3-piece Catfish Dinner plate which was searved fresh and hot. All the meals here are excellent, try and order each choice.

I had chicken fried chicken, fries & a garden salad & all were delicious. My wife had a cheeseburger and fries and both were really good. Our friend tried the fried catfish fingers and fries and enjoyed both. She gave me a piece of her fried catfish to try and it was good but the chicken fried chicken was better.

We were driving to Bucees and spotted the lucky duck cafe and wanted to stop here. The main reason was that they served the fried green tomatoes.
It was a spacious restaurant with lots of table and very country decor. We loved how they had styled the place. Their staff is very friendly and really sweet. You can go order your food and sit anywhere and once it’s done they call you to come get it.
I ordered a small veggie sampler and veggie burger on a western burger. They were happy to do it and made sure I knew it had bacon and cheese. My husband had the chicken fried chicken with fries. The only issue we had was with the breading. We kind of felt that they didn’t do that well other than that the food was yummy. Good quality food and not too pricey.

Lucky Duck is always consistently good. No frills, down home, southern fried cafe. Clean and comfortable atmosphere and friendly staff. I have tried a variety of their offerings. You can rely on it being the quality each visit. It is clear by the simple and restrained menu that they focus on executing and delivering on just good southern staples.
