I visited Cowboys OKC and had a great time. The rodeo and bull riding were exciting and felt very authentic. There was also plenty of dancing, a great vibe, and a fun western atmosphere. The crowd was friendly and welcoming, and the overall mood was positive and energetic. A perfect place to enjoy rodeo, dancing, and true cowboy culture in Oklahoma City

Hands down the best bar experience I have ever had anywhere in Oklahoma or the country cor that matter. $10 cover for guys. Friday night at 11 pm and not super crowded but lots of people. Live bull riding twice, once at 11 and once at 12 w 6-10 riders each go. $4 domestics/wells and they were $2 until 10 pm so next time will be coming earlier. Great music and mix of red dirt (loved the Turnpike) and then bro-country too even if I don’t like that as much. Something for everyone. Just a really great environment and I wish I would’ve come to this place sooner. Great experience.

I went on one of the nights that the riders were not gonna be on the Bulls so we didn’t go in but from what we heard it was a wonderful place. We did go there and see the place which it was nice and very Ranchy with fun sounds coming from the inside. I just won’t pay cover to get into a club so if the main attraction is not there I don’t want to pay. We actually asked some locals where to go after Goo Goo Dolls and they said to go to Cowboys OKC. I wish the riders were there but I will try again when I am back.

Great place to dance. Doors open at 8 pm, get there early or you may not get a table. Packed by 9:30, they have a mechanical bull, and ride live bulls between 10:30-11:00 pm on Fri & Sat night.

Had a good time despite the rude bartender (when you walk in to the left) who accused me of cutting the line (there was no line) when I walked up to the bar next to my friend and there was not even one person behind me. My friend mentioned she’s often rude whenever she goes and usually avoids that bar. Definitely some negative and jealous energy from her, but the girl who walks around selling shots was great.

Unprofessional and disappointing experience!
We visited Cowboys from Texas for a bachelorette weekend and unfortunately had a very unpleasant experience at the entrance. The bouncer questioned the validity of my ID, made me sign my name three separate times, and even commented that my nose looked different than in my photo. Despite showing proof through my Apple iCloud that my name and date of birth matched my ID, he still refused to accept it. They did not have an ID scanner to properly verify authenticity, which made the situation even more frustrating. The interaction was unnecessary, unprofessional, and completely ruined what was supposed to be a fun night out. I would not recommend this venue, especially to out-of-town guests looking for a welcoming atmosphere.

Cowboys is the only place I go out, and I’ve been coming here since my college days in 2009. Yes, on Friday nights there can be ‘less’ country 2 stepping but it’s still a solid 1/3 of the songs. Thursday and Saturday are typically more country and Friday can have hip hop mixed in too for the younger crowd- in my experience over 16 years.
Friday and Saturdays LIVE bull riding is always amazing and my favorite, as an equestrian and farm woman myself.
The Mechanical Bull here IS WAY BETTER THAN REDNECKS.
As an actual rider, this bull is a 40,000$+++++ professional training mechanical bull that REAL bull riders train on.
Rednecks’s is weird and doesn’t even do the proper motion at all.
“Training” on the mechanical bull here and watching the riders is my favorite- but I also love the entire staff and the perfect blend of 2 stepping, line dances, and some classic 90s hip hop on Fridays.
The bar tenders are all kind and excellent at their job, the bouncers are great and the management is great. They do an amazing job at catering to all generations and I always go alone, and make friends and dance with strangers every time.
It’s the most inclusive club to go to solo or with a group or for date night. Upstairs is chill, with pool tables everywhere. A TON of bathrooms both upstairs, and downstairs. You’ll never have to wait in a line or have no toilet paper.
Bar tenders prepare multiple water cups and leave them out on the bar to grab and the water IS FILTERED not tap.
11/10 this is the spot to spend your weekends.

It’s VERY fun, but if you’ve never been and want to go back outside for a second, be prepared for two of the rudest men! I went for the first time tonight, and I asked how and where I needed to to go about going outside, and the two older men were so satisfied in being condescending to me. It was really weird tbh Ive never experienced anything like it before.
