I’ve ordered pickup twice recently, and both experiences were really disappointing. Overall, the orders were messy and incomplete. Several ingredients were missing, including the dressing and even the tortillas. It feels like something is missing every single time.
The cilantro was poorly trimmed with thick stems left in, which made it unpleasant to eat. I used to really like the steak here, but lately it’s been dry, tough, and almost jerky-like — not flavorful at all.
I’m not sure what’s changed recently, but the quality seems to be going downhill. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this place right now and probably won’t be coming back for a while.

I never leave reviews on stuff but my mom went in cafe Rio to get my whole family dinner. I asked for a bowl with rice, beans, pico, cheese, barbacoa meat, cilantro ranch and queso. I basically got slaw…. It was mostly liquid stuff with 0 rice they also weren’t the nicest people. My mom was being rushed while she was trying to read off orders, they kept telling her to “just read the text” blah blah, there wasn’t even anyone behind her. My mom is the nicest human ever to employees and obviously these young guys didn’t treat her with much respect. The food is super good but this is the worst experience I’ve had with cafe Rio.

This is my go to for FRESH taco salads. This place makes the best avocado ranch dressing you’ll ever eat in your life. I’m can’t eat spicy foods, but this has just a touch of heat mainly for flavor. Love it & all the food is fresh & I mean crisp veggies. Can’t go wrong here. I visit family in Ks. wish they had one of these near. Know my family would love it too. One of these would go over great in like Topeka or Wichita.

It’s like Chipotle but maybe a little less healthier. Definitely get the salad bowl, they give you a piece of toasted tortilla with optionally melted cheese at the bottom of the bowl, and you can pick your base, protein, and toppings. I got the grilled steak and sweet pork barbacoa, I wanted the roasted beef barbacoa but they ran out of it.
Anyways, I liked the grilled steak better, but if you dont mind sweet pork then you’ll probably enjoy that more than I did (I don’t particularly like sweet meat stuff).

The taco salad is huge and comes on a fresh made flour tortilla. I need it to be gluten free so no tortilla for me but it is still delicious. Their house made lime ranch is outstanding. Also the chips and queso are delicious! Be sure to try the mint limeade as well!

Tenzin and his team were great! Twice I had called in after paying for my order online and requested to change the pick up time for our order. Both times Tenzin agreed to make the changes. He was not mad but was willing to accommodate us both times and ensured that our order would be hot and ready in the evening when we had finally picked it up as requested. His in-store team was great and could not have been more gracious with our order. Tenzin even came out to meet me and I was able to thank him in person. We really appreciate their professionalism and service. We felt understood and valued as customers and we really appreciate that. Bravo to Tenzin and his team at the Lynnwood/Alderwood Mall location.

Brought two people here two different times because I love the one in Issaquah and one person food had a big chunk of grizzle and he couldn’t eat it. The other was a bowl the worker was preparing with super runny black beans and he added nasty looking shredded chicken and was told it’s too much so used his gloved hand and started taking some of the chicken out and throwing it away.. we lost our appetite and left . Probably would have gotten food poisoning. They have young teen age looking guys who are unprofessional and immature. Never going back.

Portions are a little small but the service is great. They usually have a great drink bar but today they were out of a few things. Seems to be a great team though and you can tell they enjoy working together. Very enjoyable place to visit!

This was my first time coming here. We ordered a barbacoa burrito enchilada style and a pollo bowl. The chicken was so dry it was inedible. The rice had dry uncooked bits in it. The service was very rude. The cashiers only words were the dollar amount to pay, couldn’t even bother to ask if we might like a drink. This nearly ruined my date with my partner, but we decided to go to Kura Sushi bar to save our night. We will not be coming back.
