A nice nautical-themed restaurant with a separated pub that could be Irish/English. A nice core good food and excellent service. I had fish tacos in my wife had steak and chicken fajitas. We also had an appetizer that was a big enough to feed four. Spinach and artichoke dip with chips. Overall an excellent place to go.

The atmosphere of Chip’s is hard to beat! It’s full of families and locals ☺️ The service was a little slow, but all the workers were very kind! The French Onion Soup and Black Bean Burger were great! Highly recommend if you’d like to eat at a local restaurant!

The service and atmosphere were excellent. The fish and chips were excellent with hot crispy fries. Loved the salad it came with, a very generous portion size. Had the lobster bisque, the broth was a little bland. My mom and brother had clam chowder which they loved, but we all agreed our soups were luke warm and could have been hotter. My mom had the lemon haddock and said it was incredibly bland and had to douse it with salt and pepper. She thought it was steamed and def not baked. The menu said lemon haddock, but the lemon was just a slice of lemon on the side. Also said the rice was very bland.

Nice place. Food was ok. Nothing over the top. Daughter ordered the Lemon Haddock – looked and tasted bland and watery. Grand Princess had spaghetti which she said was good. I did the French Dip – it was good – the house made potato chips made the dish.
Their Bloody Marys are house made and are full of flavor. That was a huge plus.

Not worth it. Met my family for lunch and it was nice that the bar area was separate from the dining space but the food seemed not fresh. Calamari was not fresh at all. I got the penne ala vodka, it was mushy and the sauce seemed like regular tomato sauce, no seasoning. My partner got the baked Mac and cheese which looked like slop. The Mac and cheese was not “baked” at all it was just pasta in cheese sauce. It was really gross looking. Wouldn’t come back because it was not worth what you get.

Great stop close to the beaches. They are very generous with their portions. The Fried Seafood Platter was great. Personally I think it could’ve been cooked a moment longer to make it all more golden, it was all still on the light side but it was delicious. Service was good. We did feel a bit rushed at the end although they had plenty of empty tables and the servers should be trained not to put their fingers inside the bowl while they’re bringing over the popcorn but overall friendly service.

We were hopeful when we walked in this was going to be a great experience because the place was completely packed. We were set and no one came to our table for over a half hour. We had tried to flag down multiple waders and waitresses who just looked at us and kept walking. When we finally did order our food our drinks did not come for another 20 minutes. The calamari appetizer as pictured online was about a third of that size, very disappointed. The Reuben melt with corned beef was so chewy you could not eat it and it had to be taken back. The tuna wrap was good as was the turkey wrap. It was the $4 to add bacon to the wrap which was not stated anywhere. For the service alone we would not be returning what should have been an hour and a half trip turned into multi hours due to stuff just completely ignoring us.

I love going to Chips. I have been going here for years. My most recent time was in June which these pictures are from. Our server was fantastic and unfortunately I cannot recall her name offhand. We almost had her convinced to join our Book Club. lol she was super friendly, very knowledgeable and funny. We all ordered different salads. I ordered the cob. Unfortunately I do not recall what my friends had ordered but I did take pictures of them.

Such a big menu with so many (maybe too many!) options. Fish tacos were delicious (spicy Asian chili sauce, make sure you like that). Burger was excellent too. Of course, free popcorn and good service is always a plus!
