Amazing chips and salsa. The beans burrito was very good. Ordered a pasta. The taste was good but felt good have given an another minute in cooking ( I am very specific so can be ignored. But it’s better than all the other pasta you can find around). The ambience was very good. Staffs were patient and the place has too much details written which are nice and good to read and know around a bit. Tres leches was amazing (mocha one) and the Black Forest was regular. But must try chips and salsa.

We were invited to meet friends for lunch, turned out to be a great little restaurant.
Located right on highway 160, very convenient when traveling through. The inside decor was fun, orders were taken at the counter and brought to the table by a pleasant lady. The food choices are wide, sandwiches, pizza, I opted for a chicken fried steak with very good french fries and a salad, a good choice. With the temptation of different fudge, cakes, pies, we decided on a piece of pie to go. Portions are generous, all our orders were very good, pricing is reasonable. There’s outdoor seating, under an interesting roof material, it was enjoyable sitting outside. I would definitely go back.

Pizza was decent, toppings, cheese and sauce was great, I wasn’t a fan of the pizza dough. Kinda tasted like frozen pizza dough. All else was excellent though including the customer service.

Such an eclectic and cool place. The decor is amazing. It was fun to see a picture of people on the summit of Blanca from 100 years ago just hours after we were on the summit. The service was incredible. We got in late and didn’t finish eating till 30 minutes after they closed, but they never rushed us. The pie was lovely and the pizza was also tasty.

What a gem this place was and the conversation was even better. We can in tonight and ordered the chicken fried steak and spaghetti and meatballs while we waited. We had an amazing conversation with the older women with short hair. Food tasted amazing and to be honest the atmosphere and conversation is what sets this place apart from all the restaurants in the town. Oh and we also had the blueberry cream pie and coconut dream and the dessert was amazing. If you live in town or pass through this place is a must!

We had an amazing lunch here today; the BBQ chicken wings were seriously the best we’ve ever had. They were cooked perfectly and so juicy. The Bear pizza was yummy. The ladies working there were so friendly and treated us like family. The homemade cookies in the jar (I forgot their name) were so buttery, with the perfect amount of crusted sugar and a slight hint of licorice. What a great surprise! Our appetizer was the shots of fudge! Yep! You heard me…fudge! Outstanding!

Stop here after a long day at the Great Sand Dunes. You won’t regret it. The prices are amazing for the portion of food you get. And the food is delicious. I had the spaghetti and meatballs with a chocolate fudge shot. Turns out I loved the fudge so much I had to buy a quarter pound to take home. The interior decor is very cute as well. It is self seating inside and you can order at the register. Service is super friendly and quick.

Highly recommend for dessert!
We swung into this local eatery after a sledding trip to the Great Sand Dunes, it hit the spot after a long day of hiking up those mountains of sand. The pizza and calzones were recommended to us and we had to try their desserts. The Mocha Tres Leches, Coconut Pineapple Cake, and Toffee Pie were to die for. The Tres Leches was incredibly moist and not too sweet with a beautiful balance of flavors. The Coconut Pineapple Cake was impressively tall with light whipped cream in between layers of moist cake. The Toffee Cream Pie had the best pie crust we had ever tasted. “Don’t tell Grandma, but this is incredible.” The staff was very friendly and we will definitely will swinging by here any time we are in the area!

We always enjoy whatever we select – pizza, chicken fried steak, sour cream chicken enchiladas and always appreciate the friendly staff. And the amazing desserts are not to be missed! Especially the mocha tres leches!

I’ve never been here but I was wanting to try something different and saw they had Alfredo so I figured why not. Omg don’t do the Alfredo. I got the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken added and it was the worst Alfredo I ever had! It was like a butter flavored Alfredo (but with no flavor) and the chicken I couldn’t even tell it had chicken. Very small amount and it was chopped up so small a toddler could even swallow it whole. I didn’t eat it all at the restaurant I figured if I brought it home to add spices that it might taste better but not at all. I couldn’t even finish it. If you didn’t know i had Alfredo you would of thought I had soup cause it was swimming in butter. We also got a pizza. Pizza was ok, really no flavor as well. The bill was over $40 and it definitely wasn’t worth it. The lady was nice and it is a relaxing environment tho
