What started as a small independent restaurant, has transformed into a popular family business. Nico’s was founded by Nicolas Moran Carreon in San Diego, and in 1993, his brother Prieto opened the first Nico’s in Arizona. Today, 23 locations can be found scattered across San Diego and Arizona. Marana opened it’s doors in 2003. This Nico’s is very inclusive menu wise. You will find all your trusted food items, and on top of that menudo in the weekends. Here you can dine-in, take away and drive through. Also you can call them for bigger orders for catering.

I’m very sad to make this review. One of the biggest affects on customer service is that people don’t often spread the word of great service and great food. It is when we are shocked and flabbergasted by something bad. This may fall on deaf ears, but im not one that makes an issue. I want to tell the truth. I have always loved the service and food here. Today, we got all the way home with our lovely dinner and it is not what we normally get. I guess I asked for a extra that was not what the preparer liked. I love the beef quesadillas, only they have been so wet and juicy, its hard to eat. I wanted to try with the favorite, but wanted the juice dried up or squeezed out so it could be enjoyed with the cheese and tortilla. Well it’s marana and we live a little far so we got it home and seriously got it opened and I see total soup. It is extra wet and soupy. That is not a quesadilla. I can’t eat it. Its just sad that they didnt get it and made it very far from what their customer wanted. I want to know why and what happened

We thought we’d check it out, so a friend and I stopped by and were not disappointed. My friend ordered the relanno but it was to spicy for her, so they let her get something else she good eat. The service was very good and the food was delicious! Yeah we’re going again!

Awesome place!! I was coming into Tuscon from the North side after 8 hours of travel. I came in 30 minutes before they closed which is typically the danger zone, but they were awesome. Everything was amazing and the portions were awesome. I highly recommend this place coming in or out of Tuscon and if you live in Tuscon, please visit. Fyi. I had the Carnitas Plate. So good!!!

Pulled up for a breakfast burrito (chorizo), got finessed for potatoes and cheese which I thought came with a breakfast burrito, the burrito was decent size but potatoes were hard as a rock, and chorizo undercooked, won’t be coming back here. Had to throw away, way to overpriced for some nasty food I can only imagine how nasty the kitchen is

Friendly staff.
Good food.
Generous portions.
Fair price.
You know, Taco bell is across the street, but for about the same price what they charge there, here I can get a complete Nico’s meal AND I’ll eat half now and the other half tomorrow for lunch!
Plus, Nico’s meat doesn’t get squeezed out of a bag and TB’s is… just sayin!

Love Nico’s Marana. Always tasty. Have never had a bad experience there. Other Nico’s locations can vary. The salsa at Nico’s Marana is fantastic. I love both the green and red.

Ordered the Supreme Nachos wirh Carne Asada and the carnival Chimi, it was really really good!!! The Nachos have real shredded cheese and not that chemical fake crap. The carne asada has lots of flavor. The chimichanga is delicious .
