Checking in online made the wait a lot easier! As breakfast places are always a packed. The restaurant has a nice feel and it’s clean and the staff are warm and welcoming. It’s bigger inside than what you see from the outside. The service was good and attentive. We came as a party of 4 on a Sunday at 11:30am. Drinks came out quickly and food came out in about 10 minutes, not a long wait at all. Overall it was a good experience and would recommend Doyle Street Cafe.

I came here for brunch and ordered the Ultimate Benedict. It was so good. Never had a Benedict with mushrooms before and it was amazing. Not to mention their house-made potatoes, SO GOOD! Got the organic chai which was ok, more like a holiday drink without much chai but overall flavor was good.

The service is great. Highly recommend this place.

I love this delicious gem! Their eggs Benedict is so delicious! You can try either or, the classic or the mushroom avocado one, and they are both divine! And the staff is amazing! Attentive, friendly, with memorable smiles.
They have a beautiful outdoor seating area as well. Next time I will sit outside on a nice day.
I look forward to trying more dishes next time . Thank you Doyle Street CA!

Found this cafe in the neighborhood where we were visiting. Quite a surprise that we’ve visited Emeryville before and never knew of this gem. We were a party of three and were promptly greeted at the door. I had a great breakfast experience and will definitely be going back next time we are in Emeryville.

My dog and I were on a stroll and found ourselves sitting in a comfy, sunny seating area in the front.
The service was great! And the food was exceptional!
While waiting for my order one of the staff took their time to pour some fresh water in a dog bowl for my dog. (Scored major points to me on how awesome this gem in the city is.)
I hope they continue to have great success and maintain their well above average standards.

Love this place! The servers are so attentive, efficient and kind. I have been disappointed by anything I’ve had there and I always get a pancake no matter what!

Been meaning to try this restaurant for a while and it did not disappoint! I got the home fries heaven and the stuffed french toast; both of which were absolutely delightful! The home fries paired perfectly with the chile habanero hot sauce they had at the table, which is a must try if you are here. Not pictured is the freshly squeezed orange juice which was both wonderfully refreshing and sweet. The wait wasn’t too long, but I recommend joining the waitlist on yelp if you are able!

Amazing brunch, really special place indeed. The hollandaise sauce absolutely blew my mind. When it came down to ranking the eggs benedict, the crab cake and smoked salmon tied for first place. But the potatoes were absolutely incredible. The seasoning in EVERYTHING is so on point! The coffee was amazing as well. Great service, will definitely return!

Great breakfast, friendly service and chill atmosphere. We had the following and they were all good – buttermilk pancakes, Reuben sandwich and Farmer’s Omelette. My wife says “tastes homemade” and my son loves the potato hash. Coffee was good too!

What a gem! We dropped off family to SFO early in the day and were very hungry! I searched for a breakfast spot along our route back to Sactown and saw this place with high marks. Boy, were we literally blown away!

First, the parking situation can be a little challenging. The cafe is within a residential area, so hope for a spot close enough. Next, we were sat down to our table (we chose outdoors) pretty quick. We were immediately provided water and orders taken, which is great coz I hate it when you have to wait just to be able to ask for water.

Our food came pretty snippy. We ordered their Benedicts – salmon and crab cakes plus a side of French toasts. The benes were some of the best ones we’ve ever had! What made them stand out are not just the mains but also the sides of potatoes. They were tender, crisp, and flavorful! The hollandaise sauce on top of the benes were perfect!

We are now looking forward to driving some 2hrs to drop off family to SFO and have an excuse to come back to this cafe!
