We didn’t like any of the variety of dishes we ordered. Maybe it’s because everything had the same texture but just covered with different sauces. After chewing for a while, we all gave up and left at least half of the food. We paid our bills and left without packing any leftover.
No complimentary fruit or dessert offered at the end of our meal which was unexpected from an Asian restaurant.
The dinner was far from the vegeterian meals we’ve had in Hong Kong. The search for a decent Chinese vegetarian restaurant continues…

The staff is caring and quick.
After a lunch or a dinner there is the coffee shop of the same name which prepares coffee made of bean originated from volcanic earth. Deserts are also vegetarian and changes from time to time.
An excellent table for vegetarian as well as meat eaters for families, couples or solo food fans.
Highly recommend
As a vegetarian of Hong Kong ancestry, it’s hard going to dim sum and breaking my vegetarianism. But this place fixes it by offering vegetarian alternatives. A friend and I ordered a lot of classic dim sum dishes such as ha gao and siu mai.
The BBQ pork cheung fun had an interesting texture to the fake meat. It reminds me of the Buddhist fake meat I used to eat as a kid when I visited family in Hong Kong. Tasty, though. The texture of the noodle was a bit rubbery, though.
The baked char siu bao was good. The sugary topping was a bit too sticky, but the BBQ flavor came through. The bread was light and airy.
The ha gao had a hint of ginger, and the texture was a bit crunchy with the different bites inside. Does anyone know what the fake shrimp is made of? I couldn’t place it.
The siu mai was more of a deviation from the meat version with its sticky rice filling. I like the sticky rice wrapped in jasmine leaves, but the siu mai rice didn’t have a lot of flavor.
We also got thin noodles. The sauce was perfect, and the noodles were a bit chewy.
Not pictured is my giant chai tea latte. Which had a lot more coffee that you’d expect for a chai tea. I didn’t like the coffee part, although it’s on me since it was in the coffee section, not the tea one.
Overall not bad! I’d come back to try other dim sum classics such as the football shaped fried dough.
