Kind of a hole in the wall place that reminds me of local places I grew up visiting in Texas. Go for the margaritas for sure. The basics are as good as any other Mexican place but their more unique items are solid. Service is hit or miss – everyone is friendly but some servers are more proactive than others (e.g., someone was constantly there to refill chips and salsa, food was out super fast, but it took a long time to wave someone down to get another drink).

Always a great time. The food is yummy and comes out quickly. The frozen mango margaritas are the best. Ask for a tajin rim, and add chamoy…. you won’t regret it

Definitely the best Mexican food we have had since moving to Colorado from Texas! I was a bit unsure of the prices, until I saw how much food we received! I ordered the Al pastor taco plate, which was served on a 12-inch platter full of food. The wait staff was incredible! Our waitress, Jessica, did an amazing job and made me feel very safe eating there with a gluten allergy. The service was very quick, and our water and chips were always refilled before they got empty! We will definitely be returning.

I had the combo plate with crispy relleno and a beef burrito, which comes with rice and beans. The beans had a strange taste to them (outside the burrito, but the beans inside were fine). All else was great!

We have visited several locations, but we are not sure if they’re franchises because everyone has a different menu. Same menu, just different layouts. Daniel was our server, and he was very energetic and courteous. He gave us a couple of recommendations, but we already knew what we wanted. My wife had sopes, and I ordered the street tacos with a few sides. The appearance was fantastic, and the flavors were robust and delightful. It was a Sunday so not many people were in attendance but there was a large party in the center. Daniel kept checking in on us. Even brought us a green salsa, which he said went well with the sopes. Really enjoyed ourselves. The only annoying thing is the entry point from Main St. If you’re not paying attention, you will miss it.

Better than ever! I read reviews here earlier today and was impressed that the owner responded individually to each comment. We usually go to Westminster but decided to try Broomfield.
No problem getting seated or service. We were surprised that the menu has changed; it is much simpler. IMO it allows the restaurant to focus on getting the fewer items made better.
It definitely worked! I got the poblano relleno. I’ve discovered I like the softer batter and larger pepper. Combined with the green chili sauce, it was delicious!
My wife got a salad. The one she ordered in the past was not on the new menu, but she liked the tapatia salad.
Even though we were there at peak dining time on Friday with lots of patrons, service was excellent throughout our meal.
I’m looking forward to going back to try out other things on the new menu. A couple of years ago we were lamenting the shortage of nearby Mexican restaurants. Now we have found several, all great in their own way. They are gems and it just took a little effort to find them.

Dependably good food and service with all the standard Mexican fare you’d expect. The frozen mango margarita was the stand-out item for me. Sweet and flavorful with a spiced rim, I’d go there just for those and chips in the future. And unlike some restaurants, they don’t skimp on the tequila!
The deluxe enchiladas were good, though not the best I’ve ever had. I got one cheese and one ground beef. The ground beef was the winner by far. The seasoning on it was the perfect. My husband ordered the tacos al pastor (pork and pineapple tacos). I don’t normally like pork, but his meal was the better of the two. Definitely worth a try if you like tacos with a sweet and savory combo.
Prices were reasonable for the area. The service was fast and friendly. They have both booth and table options, with colorful decor. My only criticism of the experience was the temperature in the dining room was uncomfortably warm, especially since we were tucked in a corner booth by the window. I’m guessing that’s an unavoidable byproduct of this July heat wave, and won’t be a concern on our next visit….because we will definitely be going back!

Fast service and reliable Mexican food. The wait staff was really fun and the food was tasty and reasonably priced. It was super busy but the team worked to be attentive and make sure we were quickly served. The menu has a wide variety of itemsand combinations.

Extremely pleased. Definitely pleasantly surprised!!! Usually..most 3 margaritas are pretty bland and kind of cookie cutter. This one however, was warm, inviting, and the staff was fantastic….and the food was delicious! Definitely understand why they have such high ratings. Awesome job guys. We will definitely be back. The burrito bowl is amazing!

The service was good. Alberto “Beto”, is a very respectful man, attentive, and he knows a lot about the menu and engages well with helping to choose from the menu. His hospitality was great.
Unfortunately, I didn’t think the food was all that great. The sopapillas were good though!
