The fried green tomatoes were good, hubby had bangers and mash and said his entree was good, I had fish and chips. The hand cut french fries were very good. We had nice service. Pub atmosphere. We just missed the live band on Friday. We left around 8pm. We just walked from our hotel. I recommend this restaurant.

We dined on Saturday Dec 13 and it was great. I had the best cod fish! The location is perfect, close to our hotel. I had the Artic punch and it was just right. Our server was fast and nice! We will be back when we visit LR!

Great atmosphere, great beer, don’t recommend eating here. We got the fish and chips, potato soup and salmon Caesar salad. Fish batter was good but the actual fish was leathery and tasted like it was microwaved, however the fries were tasty with the tartar sauce. Salmon was super salty and salad had way too much dressing. Not worth the price or calories. Bartender poured the best Guinness I’ve ever had!

I ordered a hamburger onion , rings , french fries and mozzarella sticks with a soda , very reasonably priced service was very good, even though they were short-staffed. Atmosphere was very pleasant, music, music music, very nice. I sat outside. Tried to hide around a corner to see how long it would take for somebody to notice me. And it only took about 5 minutes before my server came out. I snuck in on her atmosphere would have been better, but you know how Little Rock is, when you’re outside eating? There’s always somebody around, even though they try to keep them away. I would quote saying that this would be one of the best hamburger places in town. It also serves drinks but I didn’t want any i have eaten at a lot of places around here that serve hamburgers, and I gotta say this isn’t a number one place and those mozzarella sticks, they are the best.

Imagine a hangout spot with good drinks, great food, and homely feeling. From the moment I walked in I felt it was the place to be. Marcus greeted me with a friendly vibe and I was immediately sold. He then followed that up with some outstanding service, including offering up his suggestions on both food and drinks, as well as the fact that this place makes most of its food and sauces FROM SCRATCH. As much as that is becoming common, compared to the 90s or 2000s, it is still pretty rare. Great spot, definitely will be back! And for Marcus, continue to develop as a customer service representative and promote above peers!

Update: I moved to Little Rock, this is one of the chillest places to hang out, if I am not traveling for work I am there at least once a week to chill out. Food is great but still huge servings. Since I started visiting here in 2022 they have kept staff, which is an excellent sign.

We stopped by Dugan’s Pub as it was around the corner from our hotel. It was immediately obvious that this was a friendly and fun place to be. The atmosphere is much like an authentic Irish, a lively bar, dart board and good conversation. The food was very good and the service was friendly and very attentive. Highly recommended this place.

Our 2nd visit today. Fish and Chips and a Black and Blue burger. The burger was very good. The fries were excellent. Unfortunately the fish was overcooked. I think we will take a break from Dugans. I did have 2 Irish Smithwick beers. That was really the reason for our visit.

Had a wonderful time here on a Friday night, did not expect to go here it just kind of happened, but a friend of mine and I were able to get a table on the patio while a band was playing inside. we got some fried mushrooms that were Giant and absolutely delicious!!! also I was thrilled that they served diet Dr pepper! The waiter went by delivering food to another table and it looked so good I had to stop him and ask what that was on the tray, I’m definitely going to have to try those items the next time I go back. In the past I’ve had the fish and chips and the giant mozzarella sticks and they are wonderful, next time I will get the fried mushrooms again and I’m going to try that steak sandwich!
The only complaint I have is that it may have taken longer than I would have liked to give an order to the waiter, but I know they were busy and the waiters were all very nice to us I would suggest this place to anyone visiting the area, or a Family night out, heck even a dinner date or a girl’s night out, this place is really cool!

Black apple on tap, friendly bar service and pretty surprisingly decent food.
Seating is pretty limited, but even though it was super busy, we sat at the bar and service was friendly and quick.
The Reuben was good, I would have preferred it with Russian dressing, it was still great! Fries were also a high point, next time I’d definitely get a plate of just those!
I’d certainly go back again!
