So I told them I would if the stickers and bag showed sign of tampering which It means it falls into they’re responsibility of making sure their orders are properly bagged before handing off to a second or third party delivery service and the manager just straight up hung up on me and when I called back again the manager on duty hung up on me again in the middle of talking which is very unprofessional and now I’m stuck paying full price for missing items. I will definitely be contacting corporate over this this is outrageous managers should be showing more professionalism and better problem solving skill than just merely hanging up on complaining customers and ignoring the problem as this manger did they should be leading by example and he has definitely set a poor unprofessional example
I normally don’t leave reviews, but I had such a disappointing experience at the McDonald’s on Minnesota Avenue that I felt it was necessary to speak up.
I initially went to the 12th Street McDonald’s, but they were busy, so I decided to try the Minnesota location. When I pulled into the drive-thru, there were no cars—so I figured it would be a quicker option. However, when I got to the speaker, I was greeted with a very rushed and unfriendly, “Go ahead with your order.” I let the staff member know that I couldn’t see the menu because the previous customer’s receipt was still on the screen. As the screen finally cleared, he repeated (with a noticeable attitude), “Go ahead with your order.”
I politely asked for a moment to review the menu. When I said I was ready, the response I got was, “You can wait,” again with clear irritation. At that point, I no longer felt comfortable placing an order—if someone speaks to customers like that, I don’t trust them to prepare my food. I drove all the way back to the 12th Street location, waited 20 minutes, and still received excellent customer service there.
What really sealed the deal for me was calling the manager to report the issue—only to be told that I was being rude. Thankfully, I had someone in the car who confirmed that I remained calm and respectful the entire time. It’s unacceptable for a manager to dismiss a customer’s concern like that. If management defends this kind of behavior, it’s no surprise the location has a 3.1-star rating.
In short:
✔️ 12th Street location – worth the wait, great customer service.
❌ Minnesota Avenue location – rude staff, dismissive manager, and poor attitude overall.
I hope McDonald’s takes a closer look at how this location is being run, because this kind of customer experience reflects badly on the brand.
Also shout out to Paul. Is on the line or kitchen guy. He’s actually a funny guy and jokes alot. And yet somehow still efficient.
