We went to eat the famous cheese steak sandwiches.

Mine was garlic but I couldn’t taste much garlic. They offered sauces, and I wish one was a garlic sauce. My husband’s blue cheese really tasted like blue cheese.

The employees were very professional and nice.

I’ve been getting food from this place for several months, and the cheese steaks have always been pretty decent. I placed an order earlier tonight for delivery though, and I ordered the cream cheese steak.

What I got was NOT a cream cheese steak. It was cream cheese and I don’t know what else mashed onto bread. I should have specified that I wanted some steak with my cream cheese and bread, because this thing looked absolutely atrocious. I didn’t even eat it, because I could feel sickness seeping off of this thing.

This was hands down probably one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve ever had.

I have been looking for a place that has the cheese wiz Philly steaks! This place is delicious. I have been craving a philly cheese steak for a cold minute! The bread was also super good! Very soft and delicious. The meat was also delicious. Basically urrthing was hitting just right.

Being a customer that comes in about once a month & is never disappointed, I chose DP Cheesesteaks for our company’s Christmas lunch. Lima and his staff are amazing and had our fairly large order ready propmptly as promised. Not a single complaint from 28 guys so that’s sayin somethin!! I would highly recommend giving them a try. The Garlic Steak is fantastic.

Comparing this location to the Lehi location. Lehi is nice and clean, give you great and fair portions plus it’s played very nice and clean inside(no flies buzzing around either). Here not so much. Multiple tables say “this table has been sanitized” yet there are crumbs all over. The staff is never very welcoming / seem annoyed when you walk in (especially compared to Lehi where they clearly show they want your business). The food portions for a regular are a slap in the face and they just throw it on making it look unappetizing. If you want a cheesesteak / sandwich in the Sojo area you’re better off going to Jersey Mikes. Love DP but won’t be back to this location until management changes.

The food at DP is always great, but the service is even better. All employees working tonight at the South Jordan location were so friendly and accommodating. We have little kids and one dropped his bottle of Fanta, shattering the bottle and making a mess. They handled the situation with so much grace and even gave my kid a replacement soda.

I wish I knew names so I could give a personal shoutout. Thanks to everyone for being exceptional!

I recently tried DP’s for their cheesesteak, which was delicious. However, the restaurant had an off-putting smell inside, which affected the overall experience. While the food was great, the odor was a significant drawback. Consider it for takeout if you’re a cheesesteak lover, but be prepared for the ambiance issue

Food is great, service is Horrible…

Just so you know I do reviews, this not my first.

I cought the manager, cook, cashier, & sever snacking in the back on something, I’m guessing it’s a sandwich. They were laughing and giggling.

So when the cashier took my order, I told her directly on what kind of sandwich and size I like. When I received my sandwich, it was the wrong size…

Yeah I was upset, I had just watched a crew laughing and giggling at their own leisure and then they messed up my order, meaning I had to wait a longer time than expected for my meal to be made. When that shouldn’t of have happened the first time…

I told the manager about the situation and like a little girl his response was, “don’t tell me how to do my job”… So unprofessional….

I miss how Danny ran the place, this manager is weak and cannot take a complaint, he is unworthy to be a manager. I seen how they use the disabled worker to clean everything as they lounge around.

I do not recommend this spot to anyone… They need to bring Danny back out of retirement.

The best cheesesteaks we’ve had in Utah. They have cheese wiz available which my husband loved. They also have a tasty Hot pastrami sandwich. Delicious. We we at around 7:30 on a Saturday and they were not too busy and we got our food pretty quickly. We will definitely be returning on a regular basis.

Overpriced for what you get. I paid $12.43 which only included the large sandwich. It tasted pretty ok for what I’ve come to expect lately and there wasn’t anything crucially wrong with the food itself. But I’m docking two stars, one for value, and one for portion size. Even three stars seems a stretch though given there are just much better food places out there for the price these days.

Here’s the thing; I used to eat here once a week years back, and for $9 you could get their large sandwich, included 2 sauces, and a drink. Fast forward and their bread shrunk, it’s no longer overflowing with meat and cheese (most of my sandwich was peppers), they are stingy with their sauce cups so you have to pay extra for the 2 sauces that used to come with the large, and no drink for almost $4 more. It left me with the feeling of paying full price for a half full bag of chips. For $13, I could have doubled both the standard offering of meat and cheese on a footlong sandwich from Subway and still gotten chips and a drink for under that price (Food chain argument aside). ‍♂️ I used to come here for the flavor and the quality, but I feel like even the flavor has been mediocre lately. What’s been every week for lunch has now turned to once or twice a year, and it’s honestly not something I even regret at this point. It’s become completely forgettable and underwhelming. It’s just not worth the price they are asking. What a shame.
