At our Anderson, SC location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

*** Management, please comment on this post to tell me “When I should come back” for I do like Captain D’s food but don’t waste your comment here on the usual canned response for I won’t waste my time again until you straighten it out ***
I went there for dinner a couple of days ago and stood there at the register with no one else in line and never even got looked at by the person working the front so I walked out once again.
Then yesterday I drove by a little after 6:00pm looked over and there wasn’t a car in the parking lot except for one in the drive-through and this speaks volumes.
I never understood the priority that is given by many restaurants to the drive-through people over the people dining inside. It should be vice versa because we made the effort to get out of our vehicle and come inside.
It seems to me that you may be having trouble getting and keeping GOOD help because you expect the person working the front to wait on the drive-through and the people dining inside.
If this is so then shut the drive-through down and post it so people will know to come inside.
I think this was the case a few months ago when I posted that you could never find the dining room open just the drive-through.
Shortly thereafter I tried it again and the problem was fixed and I had a kind and efficient manager working the front that had no problem doing both.
Captains D’s cooks the fish fresh and I don’t care to have the fresh hot crispy fish put in a container to get fogged up and soggy after going through the drive through.
If you all could maintain control of this restaurant and keep it you would do well for people like your food like I do and Anderson deserves and needs a functional Captain D’s.
honestly shitty service everytime we go and wont be back.. and all the cars behind us pulled out also…
