My wife and I were passing through Blue Ridge and decided to stop at Carroll’s Barbecue. It was lunch time in a Saturday and was steady busy. Was sat right away and our drink & food order taken. Food came out fast, was fresh and was very good food! We will definitely come back here again when in town. Definitely recommend.

Great southern style bbq with some over the top creative options like “Tater Hill”. This monstrous portion of food can be served over a baked potato, fries, or tots and is topped with their homemade white sauce, bbq beans, mac and cheese, coleslaw, and your choice of deliciously smoked meat. The service was fast and friendly. The restaurant was clean with modern southern decor.

The ribs were a 10/10! Best ribs I have ever had. Fell right off the bone. Pulled pork 10/10. Mac and cheese 10/10! So creamy and cheesy! Baked beans hot and really good flavor. I didn’t care for the coleslaw. Highly recommend eating here. Best bbq! Service was great! Very friendly.

Stopped in for lunch today after a rough and long morning and the food and service made my day! The food was flavorful and comforting, just what you want from a BBQ place.
We started with dessert, cause we needed the comfort and let me tell you… get the Banana Pudding!
The brisket nachos absolutely made my day— the brisket was tender and flavorful without being overdone. It had a great balance of textures and flavors.
We also tried the mac and cheese, and it was super creamy and rich, with just enough cheesiness to make it satisfying without feeling heavy. Definitely the perfect comfort Mac and Cheese after a long morning.
Service was friendly and fast, and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. Especially impressed after learning they were short staffed when we arrived! Will definitely be back if we’re ever in the area again.

Why eat a chopped pork or chicken plate when you can have a Tater Hill! It’s a baked potato piled high with BBQ, Mac and Cheese, Baked Beans and Coleslaw. It’s a plate full of deliciousness.

The staff is super friendly and helpful! Food quality was on point. The brisket was juicy and flavorful. The Brunswick stew has a slight bite to it, giving it a unique flavor. Save room for the skillet brownie! Sooo good!

We recently visited here for the first time after living in the area since 2022, and the food and the service was awesome. Aubreey, our waitress was so nice to us and so helpful. We went with the bbq pulled pork plate with two sides. All was so good and fresh. We even tried the banana pudding for desert and it was just like grandma’s banana pudding. Definitely will be back soon. Our new favorite bbq restaurant! Thanks to all that work here and do such a good job. We appreciate you!
