We wanted to host our friend who was showing us around worthing and it did not disappoint. Best skate wing i have ever had. My friends loved the cioppino. I dont think you can make a bad decision when ordering. Very well executed and reasonably priced.

Second time at The CrabShack and I was not disappointed. I had the prawn cocktail to start and the Stargazy pie for mains. Both were delicious washed down with a lovely German draft beer. Not cheap, but competitively priced. The servers were very attentive and the service was excellent, thoroughly recommended.

Great seafood restaurant . Very busy as all the tables inside were taken.Luckily there was a table outside.. We have the specials. The lobster was great and so was the skate wing.

The fish pie at The Crab Shack is quite simply outrageous in the best possible way. Deeply comforting, outrageously rich and packed with generous, beautifully cooked fish. The crab loaded fries are delicious. Crisp fries, sweet fresh crab, indulgent sauce and zero restraint. Dangerous levels of enjoyment.

I’m left wondering why we’d walked past the Crabshack and not ventured in, until this day! I have to say the experience was really good, 5 stars for everything, I’d probably give 6 stars if it was possible. Staff were busy but very friendly, there’s good cosy atmosphere inside, but the food is fresh and just wonderful and heaps of it, we shared the fish plate for two which is good value at £60 plus shared a very reasonable bottle of house white. wine. Thoroughly recommend!!

We came in for lunch today and it was phenomenal. Ambiance under the big tent out front was great! Food did take some time to arrive but it was worth it. We started with the crispy squid with a very unique dipping aioli. I had the lobster roll special, my mom had the slip sole in a mussel sauce (also on special) and my aunt the dressed crab. Portions were good sized, everything was excellent! Will add to my rotations of restaurants!

Top seafood restaurant, quality produce, fair pricing and quick, attentive service. The squid is delicious, the mussels take some beating and the skinny fries are just perfect.

Cozy restaurant tucked into the end/beginning of the boardwalk.
Reservations are a must, as this place has delicious food and everyone knows it.

The outdoor seating has a wonderful view of the beach. The indoor seating is decently spaced out. The menu features a good variety of seafood, and the daily specials are a fantastic treat.

If you are in a group, I would personally recommend ordering the Whole dressed crab and cockle & shrimp popcorn. It is absolutely worth it!

Visited 1st August.
Food was fantastic, good quality ingredients and big portions.
The prawn cocktail was great and really good value.
Cockle popcorn was so tasty and could have eaten 2 portions as so nice.
Friendly staff and and a nice vibe.
Advise to boom well in advance as always busy.
Looking forward to our next meal.

We have been coming to the Crab Shack in Worthing for years and it never disappoints. The food quality and service are consistently excellent, which is why we always keep coming back. My all-time favourites are the Pil Pil Prawns and the Sicilian Fish Stew – both are always spot on. Specials are always great too.
It’s a family-run place with a really relaxed, friendly atmosphere, and they also do very decent margaritas! Sitting outside on the decking on a sunny day, looking out to sea, feels absolutely dreamy. One of our favourite places to eat in Worthing.
