Walked by Sushi Grill today and saw they’re remodeling. A little bit of sadness mixed with a lot of anticipation!
According to the sign outside, they are remodeling to become a REVOLVING SUSHI restaurant starting Feb 16th.That’s such a cool concept for the area.
I’m going to miss the current vibe while they’re gone, but I am counting down the days until they reopen. It’s great to see local spots evolving.
Best of luck with the build-out—we are rooting for you!

I hate to post but honestly I thought this would be good after looking at reviews online. Sushi is okay for what I paid… The sushi rice does not taste fresh at all, and I had to go back inside and ask them for spicy mayo because I wanted to make it taste better in any type of way the girl at the front counter. She was very sweet. She asked me if there’s anything she can do and then I guess either the manager or owner cut her off and just said how can I help you? I just said I wanted menu because it didn’t taste that fresh. And he didn’t ask why or anything. The cowboy roll has beef that’s cooked it was good but again the rice made it taste bad the shrimp tempura idk what that is but it tasted very off and different from the shrimp tempura at other places.it was drenched in something? I guess they just pull it from the buffet and put it in boxes Overall 6/10 u get what u paid for. Maybe other things taste better but this is what I got. The girl at front super sweet. Owner or manger didn’t seem to care or he seemed busy.

The food was fairly decent as they don’t have a very large variety but enough for the price. It’s very good when fresh. I waited forever for fresh fried calamari and it for some reason was still cold (honestly don’tthink they ever put any out they just pushed it to the side and added another dish to the same pan.) I didn’t care for where we were seated as there were plenty open booths, yet we were seated right where they dump and stack the old sushi. Exactly what I want to deal with while I’m on my first sushi date with my new bf right? Although the rest of the restaurant was pleasantly clean. I bought a small container of squid salad and seaweed salad to go which was almost as much as it cost for the buffet as is. They finally brought out fresh ramen noodles (we had been there over an hour and I didnt even know that was an option) as we were about to leave so my poor bf got stuck sitting longer as I helped myself to that since fresh calamari or even fresh fried zucchini never came out. Overall, I would still go back. I would probably get full on just the ramen with the delicious broth and squid salad. Definitely different seating (2 stars for where they put us) and not buying anything to go though.

Been there many times! We like the variety of the food available.
The only recommendations is that it is awesome to go when there is a lot of people so the sushi’s get “refreshed” faster.
Soup flavor can be a hit or miss.
The self-serving is a unique way to contribute to the experience!
Service is excellent because they check up on you often.
♿️✅: it is wheelchair users friendly.
: Restroom are accessible for ADA guest.

Don’t come to this restaurant. They are closed for remodeling but failed to mention that on their website. Drove all the way in from east texas to try it and was very frustrated to find that they didn’t have the decency to let patrons know they wouldn’t be open.

The service was good however, the food lacked a lot of flavor. A lot of it did not have any of flavor. I feel like they are breaching some health codes by not keeping the warm food warm. Had a lot of room temperature/cold food like their dumplings, fried tempera, and chicken teriyaki. My mom used to love this place but it’s gotten downhill over the past couple years. Also the plates feel dirty since they’re all plastic.

This review hurts me to write. I’ve been a fan of Ninja since they first opened (I still miss the original location), and I’ve always defended them for being “good for the cost.”
Sadly, my last few visits have been sub-par, and tonight was the final attempt. Not all of the food was bad (the soba and hibachi items were quite good), but none of the sushi was good. Rice was hard, fish was discolored, and the taste just wasn’t good.
Worse than the food was the service. There were two young ladies working the dining room and another at the register, but none seemed interested in the diners. My check wasn’t dropped at all, another guest had to go up the register looking to pay, and my a la carte sushi order was entirely ignored.
I used to sing the praises of Ninja, but now if asked I cannot endorse them.

We had a party of 5 with 2 kids and tried the buffet on a Sunday night. They have a salad section, hot foods section, fruits and dessert, and a sushi rolls section. I started with the hot foods and grabbed some noodles and fried seafood. They were good. The sushi rolls section has a lot to choose from. I was excited and wanted to try all of them. They were mostly ok, but maybe eating too many choices ruined the experience for me. After a while and 20 rolls later, they started to taste the same and not unique. I probably should have been more selective. The fruit was good. They also have large marshmallows that you can pour melted chocolate on.
The buffet dinner price is $16.99/adult. I guess the price went up based on past reviews I read. Since the experience wasn’t great, the price was a bit disappointing. Our waiter was very nice.
