Best Indian I’ve had so far in the Toledo area, little more $ others but everything is made fresh. Complimentary chips and salad with entree that are simple but memorable and make it well worth it! Love the quiet low light dining vibes for couples nights or a small group.

Absolutely amazing food. Possibly the best and most underrated restaurant in Toledo. I’ve been going here since before they had a liquor license and it was BYOB. Never a bad meal, Yogi is a wonderful server and Mo is an absolute magician in that kitchen.

It was my husband and my first time going to this restaurant and we couldn’t have been more impressed. We went for the dinner so we didn’t get to have the buffet but will be returning to try it. The food was so fresh and full of flavor. Our server was so nice and attentive. The atmosphere was very quiet, perfect for a date or just a nice dinner. We ordered 2 apps and 2 main dishes and paid $75 with stuff to take home. 10/10 our new favorite spot.

Absolutely delicious! I ordered the vegetable biryani. A lot of times, this dish is mostly rice, but here, there was a substantial amount of vegetables, as well as great variety including cauliflower, mushrooms, green beans, peas, etc. Excellent spice too. Portions were very generous. We look forward to visiting in their new location.

5 scintillating stars for my much-loved Toledo. To be clear, unfair to compare it to 5-star restaurants in India (ex., Annalakshmi, Jamavar, Above Sea Level, Southern Spice, Royal Indianaa, Seasonal Tastes), so if you’re accustomed to that, shift gears. Jewel of Toledo is truly exceptional. Yogi, our server (also a manager) made our most recent experience 5-star. Not only is he a terrific server, with class, he’s also a fabulous educator, elocutioner (including his endearing gestures and facial expressions), and human being. And he’s funny. Highly recommended! Yes, I have eaten at all of the abovementioned places — and more — in India. Do you trust my discernment about Jewel of Toledo? Your choice 😉 No photos because we were there on its last day (will open the new location later this month).

We all got the platters with our dinners, and were very pleased to learn how much more we liked, and wouldnt have known without getting it. The add on price of the platter was incredibly cheap for everything you get. Our waiter could not have been any more helpful or friendly. We learned a lot. Definitely recommend.

Tried another one of the Indian restaurants in Toledo, the interior looks good. When we went in there was like 3 tables occupied, but the server made sure to give us a table near to the restroom, there was just one server, who was taking orders, bussing, doing the food running, handing out carry out orders and clearing checks. The dahi puri, the puri was stale, the Malabar chicken was not at all authentic , and the weirdest part of it all was , they have a $5 split charge, haven’t seen this anywhere, just another money making scheme , what it is, if a couple orders one entree, and want to share it, you have to pay an extra $5, guess they should try implementing this on their buffet . Well our server was great, that was the only good thing about this place, even the carry out containers for the curries were foam boxes, would not recommend this place .

We love this restaurant!! We had a dahl, gobi masala & an eggplant dish. You can get any heat level. The food is excellent. Service was great with helpful guidance. Can’t wait for them to move closer to Sylvania.

It’s the best Indian food we’ve found in Toledo! Food is absolutely delicious and the service was outstanding. We really enjoyed our server and the stories he had to tell us table side, and he was incredibly helpful in recommending the best dishes! We’ll keep coming back again and again!
