Making my first trip back to Amherst in a few years, of course had to stop in for slices! My wife and I each had a slice of cheese, and I also had a slice of Sicilian. It was probably the most disappointing visit I have had to Antonio’s since I first started going in 1990. The Sicilian was the better of the two products. Very good flavor and balance of ingredients. The regular cheese slice was just mediocre. It had way more cheese than I recall; more importantly, I always recall Antonio’s using semolina with the dough, but I did not detect that at all on this visit. Even Michael Jordan had an off night now and again, so it’s not like I am totally sour on Antonio’s!

Everyone is so nice here, but just want to give a shout out to Steve, absolute GOAT!!! He is so nice and is always so friendly and upbeat. I love his energy. Everyone is great though, never a bad vibe here!

Gave me a moldy soda which I unfortunately drank most of, realized after I left that it tasted off. Less than 30 minutes between receiving the cup and taking these pictures, you can still see the ice in the soda next to that biofilm.
I can’t stop inspecting the picture, it looks like a used cup that was forgotten until the soda dried and left that nasty film behind. I cannot fathom why a cup like this is in a kitchen unless they pulled it out of the trash for me.
The pizza also literally sits out and is reheated to order, that’s two strikes for me and I’m a two striker. Does not taste anywhere close to good enough for that business

Good lord. Antonio’s is a Top-5 pizza joint in MA – No question. A multitude of unique slices and its all so good. The OG location is not a comfy sit-down place – but the other ones are. It’s not just some junky college-haunt. Go try it.

Antonio’s Pizza is a smaller Pizza shop but well known to many students in the area as one of the best pizza shops, and for good reason.
The staff are very friendly, get the orders out quickly, and are able to adapt very well. The shop is pretty small, with only a few seating areas, but they are able to control any fluctuations in customers and make sure everyone gets their orders out quick.
Pizza is reasonably priced, and comes in multiple varieties. Each pizza is well crafted with great ingredients, and the pizza is baked well enough that it isnt too oily but the taste is very good.
Overall, it is a must visit in the area, whether for a late night meal or for casual dinner.

Always love going to Antonio’s. So many different varieties of pizza like the avocado nacho pizza which is my personal favorite and tortellini pesto pizza it’s a college town so lots of college students come in. It’s somewhat loud but a casual atmosphere. Perfect for a quick bite for lunch.

Great variety of slices available. Crust was nice and crispy not messy. Sicilian is more crust than I like but I’m sure it’s for some people really nice. I had portobello, tomatoes basil on one slice. Beef and bacon on another and artichoke on a third. Big slices probably could have gone with two but it all looked so good. My son had cheese, it was top shelf cheese pizza as far as cheese pizza goes. Not going Portnoy on you but it was good. Staff was quick and on point with the Sicilian pizza flip. Didn’t drop one while I was there. Hippy Amherst MA vibe. Seating limited but seemed to be a grab and go spot. Id go back hungrier next time, lots of good choices. Eat here.
