Fajitas Poblano excellent as usual. Sunday mid- afternoon dining, quiet with minimal patrons. Waiter appeared inconvenienced by my presence. This was more than compensated for by manager’s attention and friendliness.
Always a good meal that provides quantity enough for take home.

Khabib was our server and he was great! The food was not good… Our food was dry and tasted like it had been sitting for a while or reheated. The tres leches did not taste good either. I also got a glass of water with my margarita and it genuinely tasted like bleach! My friend described it as “fish bowl water!” The only thing i would recommend from here is the margarita and the coconut ice cream.

Ordered 2 queso dips and a green sauce dip. 48 ounces of dip total. At first they brought the dip out with no chips and we asked if they come with chips and they came back with the tiny bag in the picture. Am I wrong ? I have always gotten a good size bag of chips with dips. Is it the new thing to not come with chips?

Great vibe, cozy feel, very welcoming and friendly servers and staff. Food is well priced and very good. Everything from the chips and salsa to main dish were hot, fresh, and incredibly tasty! Not over seasoned, not bland, but perfect flavors. I got enchiladas and the sauce was phenomenal, chicken was juicy and the cheese blend was perfect. Server was very attentive and I never ran out of my drink (I drink a lot of soda when I go to restaurants, and quickly too). I unfortunately filled up in the hot fresh chips and wonderful salsa that came out so I only go halfway through the generous portion. There’ a high standard for mexican food in Texas, and this placed exceeded it. There’s a reason Texas has so many of these. This location is definitely a good one. Will absolutely be back again!

Karib at Los Cucos Mexican Cafe made our visit unforgettable.
Super attentive, charming, and always smiling, he knows exactly how to make guests feel special. The food somehow tasted better with his warm energy around.
If you’re there, ask for Karib, Los Cucos is lucky to have him!

Our Queso was thick and within a couple of minutes or so it became solid and lumpy. The flour chips that comes with the Queso, were hard. The waitress heated the Queso but it was still thick. She brought more chips and they were old as well. The enchiladas sauce tasted sour. I used to love eating there but I won’t anymore.

Our Los Cucos (249 near Tomball) burned down Summer 2023 and is still being rebuilt. We went to College Station to get away from Hurricane Beryl and glad to see this Los Cucos is still here, as it was the first one we ate at in 2000.
We started with two margaritas which were cold and refreshing. For our main course we had fajitas Los Cucos (chicken). Just as tasty as we remembered.
Hope our Los Cucos will open soon so we can get our weekly fix.
Thanks for a great meal!

Los cucos is one of the best Mexican restaurants in College Station. We have had Cailin as our server the last couple of times and absolutely love her. By far one of the best waitresses I have ever had.
