Welcome to Jörg’s Cafe Vienna; a family-owned restaurant serving authentic Austrian and German food in a warm, comfortable, Old World atmosphere. We have a cozy dining room with a bar, a Bier Stuben, and an outdoor Biergarten. The Bier Stuben is a great place for private parties or functions, and the Biergarten is an open patio great for enjoying a fine European beer.
Old-world restaurant supplying Austrian & German recipes plus a lively beer garden.

Amazing food and service! Our waitress Stacy was phenomenal! We started with the wurst sampler, then ordered the mutti’s jaeger schnitzel and the goulash, and had bread pudding and tiramisu — all were so delicious! The tiramisu is a must any time you come in!!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Stopped in on a rainy day to find a lovely, cozy German spot. We were sold on the warm atmosphere, but the food and service were perfect as well. Best German cuisine I’ve had in Texas. We live an hour away but will be sure to visit again. Reservations recommended, and the kitchen closes between lunch and early dinner service. I’d call this a hidden gem but judging by the crowd of regulars it appears that this is just a gem!

We enjoyed our experience overall! Food tasted delicious. Our only negative thought is that the portions are small compared to the price. Otherwise, a lovely experience

Been wanting to try this place for a while, and it did not disappoint! Tried the wurst sampler.. so good! So many different flavored sausage samples, and it gives me an idea of what I might order next time. I’ve had many breaded schnitzels elsewhere before, but was intrigued by a sautéed version on the menu. Got the Jagerschnitzel.. so so good! Spaetzle noodles were great, perfect for taking in every drop of the sauce. Also enjoyed sides of potato salad and red cabbage. My favorite was the Apple Streudel! Loved it! Service was really great, very attentive. Fun place!

I have been coming to Jorg’s for many years now and they have never disappointed. They are the only restaurant that cooks their potato salad just like my Opa did. No matter what you order you cannot go wrong. The server there Stacy is such a blessing to the restaurant, she makes everyone feel very welcome.

This place has the best ham & cheese in Dallas. We also tried their fried cheese that was excellent, I definitely recommend it to try something different. They of course have a spread of delicious beers to try, I got the Halles and loved it. On top of that, they’ve got super kind servers who take their job very seriously. We had a tiny issue with the meal, and Jorg’s responded generously and did their best to fix it. If you’re walking through Plano or searching Dallas for a good Austrian spot, make it Jorg’s! Ask for Stacey, she’s awesome.

Absolutely delicious from start to finish!
We had a fantastic experience at Jörg’s Café Vienna in Downtown Plano. The food was authentic, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We started with the pretzel cones and a savory cheese spread—warm, soft, and perfectly salty. The main dishes were just as memorable: crispy schnitzel with tangy potato salad and a bratwurst plate that came with rich sauerkraut.
The drinks were a highlight too—a jalapeño martini and a decadent chocolate espresso cocktail that was almost dessert in itself. Speaking of dessert, the apple strudel was heavenly—flaky, warm, and topped with whipped cream and a side of rum sauce that brought it all together.
The service was top-notch—friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. We never felt rushed, and every course came out just right. Highly recommend if you’re looking for great German and Austrian cuisine in a charming and cozy setting!

Great food. Timely service. Just a little small space so noise level is a lot. Surprisingly more affordable than I expected.

Man, I had such high hopes for this place. The atmosphere was so fun with Austrian polka music, flags and decorations everywhere.
The meal started strong with the pretzels and Liptauer, tasting just like I remember. However, it went down hill after that. The Jäger Schnitzel had almost no flavor, the Wiener Schnitzel tasted like it has been cooked in over used oil, the Scheiter Haufen was dull, and the Knackwurst was just okay. All in all, I was pretty let down and probably will not be back.
