While staying at an Airbnb nearby for a wedding, we chose this restaurant for dinner because of the good reviews. It’s a nice location on the river next to the Blair covered bridge (make sure to drive over it with the windows down to hear the creaking, if you dare!). There was outside seating area (but not open when we were there in late October).

It was a Saturday night so we headed over on the early side around 5:30pm because they don’t take reservations. There appeared to be a wedding party downstairs in what might be a function room.

We got on the waitlist but forgot to ask to be seated on the porch next to the river. When we saw how noisy the bar area was we asked if we could request the porch or wait until a table was available there, but they said once you’re on the list you can only take the next available. Which happened to be in the main dining area facing the porch.

The atmosphere is very casual and family-friendly, but very noisy. So not the best choice for a quiet, romantic dinner. We only had to wait about 10-15 minutes to be seated; I would have waited longer to sit on the porch, but it probably would have been noisy anywhere in the restaurant.

I had a lot of questions about menu items and the waitress was very patient and helpful. I asked about a cocktail I had seen on the website that was not on the printed menu. She checked to see if they could make it but was told they could not.

But the food was delicious! And prices were reasonable. My husband enjoyed his old-fashioned drink, and my Frisk Riesling wine was excellent. There were a lot of unusual and ethnic choices on the menu. My husband loved the pasta fattoria, which was a large serving with lots of tender chicken. I devoured the seafood bake. We got dessert to take with us, and let me tell you: the salted caramel vanilla crunch cake was one of the best things I’ve ever tasted – and I’m not the biggest dessert fan in the world!

Overall a very good experience and would recommend.

Yummy!! Wow did we pick the right restaurant. In from Denver and staying in Plymouth. The food was excellent and super fresh. The place is adorable. Sit at the back with a view of the covered bridge. The service was so good.

I had the fish tacos and the flavoring was perfect. My husband had the clam chowder and seafood bake and both were excellent.
I also had the Gin Blossom Martini which was wonderful . I will try to remake this back home

Plenty of parking. They don’t take reservations but we had no issues getting in around 6pm on a Monday night

Positives: Food was great. Atmosphere and location was very pretty and unique.
Negatives: Service was mediocre. I will say they were busy – like extremely busy – on a Wednesday night. Lots of big parties. I think the waitress was frazzled which I do understand but being rude is not acceptable. All and all, I think it’s worth a stop. Most guests seem to have a positive experience.

Absolutely amazing! The food was incredible! I had the the lomo saltado, which was delicious. The fried pumpkin pie and the pretzels are also a must have. The service was great! 100/10. If you’re driving through the area, this is the place.

We came here solely because of the high Google rating, which is completely misleading. While the atmosphere and décor are decent, the food was downright awful.

The penne pasta from the kids’ menu was inedible—overcooked to the point of being mushy and flavorless. The biggest letdown was the Moroccan lamb, one of the most expensive dishes on the menu. The lamb had an extremely strange, unpleasant texture, and the couscous was just as bad—easily some of the worst food we’ve had at a restaurant. We left more than half of our meals untouched, yet the server didn’t even bother to ask how the food was.

Paying $120 for two adults and one child for food of this quality is unacceptable. You can get far better meals for that price almost anywhere else. This restaurant absolutely does not deserve a 4.6 rating especially which can’t even cook the pasta right.

Must do in the area. Great food, atmosphere, service and setting. They are very busy and we can see why. I enjoyed my Moroccan Lamb which was tender and cooked in a delicious sauce with carrot and couscous. There was a very musical duo out on the patio performing. There also was an area outside for drinks and ice cream only. You could see that locals came for that along with the beautiful atmosphere and live music.

We went here for the first time as visitors to the area. We were extremely impressed. The service was amazing and the food was delicious. We started with the Whipped Feta & Escargot. The Rueben, Pasta Fattina, and Seafood Bake were all delicious. We hope to be back when we’re in the area again.

I’m only thirteen years old, but I just wanted to say how amazing this restaurant is. The food is absolutely amazing, with tons of variety. No matter what you get, very bite of food is extremely flavorful and delicious, without making you feel heavy or greasy. My server and the general staff were all friendly, welcoming, and made me feel excited to be here. I’d you’re in the area, you must go here.

BEST STEAK & CHEESE SANDWICH! Hot, flavorful, and incredibly tender. I would come back just for the S&C but would love to try other items on menu. Wife had chicken sandwich and raved about the flavor.
Hailey was our server and was prompt, friendly, and attentive.
We were seated at a table overlooking river and covered bridge which was a real treat. The river was beautiful with the snow and ice.
Excellent dining experience!
