The food at this Mexican restaurant was really delicious and our waiter was very friendly. My boyfriend had the Azteca soup, which was flavorful and just the right amount of spice. I had the carne asada with chicken and shrimp, which was also really good. I loved that they had fried ice cream for dessert. They also have $1 tacos for Taco Tuesday, which we will definitely be back to try. Overall, a great experience and definitely recommend!

This is our go-to Mexican spot! I always come here with my husband. Attentive service, good food, and definitely a reasonable price. We always go here when we want a nice night out without breaking the bank! The young lady who we always get always is so nice and treats me and my son so well. 10/10 recommend.

Roaches. Unfortunately tonight we door dashed. We have eaten there many times. This time I was pulling the cilantro and onions out the container and a live roach fell out of my hands. We called complained and we were told door dash compensated us. But door dash is only giving us 21.00 back and refusing to give the 42 dollars back in gift cards we used with the order. Really unfortunate but won’t be eating here again. Ixtapa and door dash got 42$ from us and we got food with roaches. In the trash it went! Never again.

Ixtapa is hands down one of my favorite Mexican spots in the area! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and comes out hot. The service is just as amazing as the food the staff is friendly, attentive, and make you feel welcome every time you walk in. The atmosphere is fun, clean, and perfect whether you’re going for a casual dinner or celebrating something special.

This was my first time coming here, it looks like a vibe except I would be careful ordering anything with pork or chicken from this place, when I got my food the bacon was raw. Food is okay, not the 100 % authentic but with music and decor it’s still nice when you’re craving for Mexican food! Came in for the first time, the waitress seems a little too busy to almost forgot our table at the corner, I’d say the time we waited for the bills is probably longer than the time we ate.. when we finally get handled and left, it’s really not that busy on a Sunday night, hence why I rate 3.

With the new management and ambience, the restaurant looked amazing. The complimentary chips bowl and salsa was surprisingly large. You don’t have to order appetizers if you are on a tight budget. The dishes are reasonably priced. Highly recommend it.
