The food was absolutely delicious (selected from the Limited Time Indulgences menu), but what really made the night was the amazing service. We were treated like VIPs from start to finish. If you’re looking for great food and even better vibes, this place is a must! Highly recommend trying the Berry Bueno Chicken while it’s available!

My first visit to El Toro, I had the Berry Bueno Chicken, the avocado dip was wonderful surprise as well. What an amazing explosion of flavors perfectly balanced to create an absolute perfect entree. The entree was prepared and presented perfectly. The wait staff was very attentive to help make sure my dining experience was perfect. I would give the Berry Bueno chicken a 10 for the best combination of flavors I’ve experienced so far and I 64 years old. The only reason I gave 4 starts for Atmosphere was no live music. I will be back to try the other featured entrees.

Also I wanted to mention my server carsen who works here. He went above and beyond to make sure my family was taken care of . He was very kind ,respectful and kept a smile on his face and I will be a returning costumer no doubt and will ask to be seated in his section.
Today the manager, Hunter, came in and he was extremely kind, professional, and respectful to everyone. It was great to see how friendly and supportive he was with both the staff and customers. That kind of leadership makes a big difference.
Overall this is a great place to eat with great food and a great team working there. I highly recommend stopping by

Great experience here! The food was delicious and came out fast. Our server Carsen was professional, polite, and very helpful throughout the meal. The manager Hunter also checked in and made the visit feel very welcoming. Awesome service all around, we’ll definitely be back!

I visit quite often. Good TexMex. Great staff. Once you have been there a few times, the regular staff will remember you. Fernando (Fer), does a great job as does the regular staff. I like this store. It reminds me of the good old days.

Big thanks to the staff at El Toro Restaurant in LaPorte for feeding us and being gracious about it. We showed up at 8:50, they close at 9. They were welcoming and helpful. They even put off cleaning the ice cream machine until after we finished our meal and were able to get ice cream. The food was yummy as always.

My husband and I met at this El Toro in La Porte in July of 2021. Every year we have come here to celebrate our meeting in the little booth next to the ice cream machine! We just got married and had our Wedding Luncheon/Reception here this past Saturday! Brittany and the staff went above and beyond from preparing the food to decorating the tables with our decorations! We were absolutely amazed when we walked in and saw how beautiful everything was! My guests were very happy with the quality and taste of the food and drinks. Thank you El Toro for making our Wedding reception so memorable.

Very good! We were very impressed! We were a little worried going in an hour before close. We saw others going in, so we chanced it. We walked in at 913pm. We finished and left at 945pm. 15 minutes before close! Hayden was our polite friendly waiter, and the teamwork was fast and efficient. No feel of rush either, he even told us to take our time. Tex Mex flavors were on point. They do have the soft serve vanilla too. Will definitely return!
