Gyros are wonderful! I always get just the sandwich because they’re so big that I can hardly eat the fries that come with the meal. They are STUFFED with meat, tomatoes and onions. Just the right amount of Tzatziki sauce, I watched them make it fresh! Please remember that this is a cash only establishment, but the good news is that there’s an ATM right in the restaurant. Definitely a must try, y’all

This is an iconic and nostalgic place for me. First time here was in 1995 and we come here every time we visit Norman. Can’t go to Norman and not eat here.
Simply menu just gyros, fries and Greek salad and pita bread. It’s the best that I have had.
Limited parking but parking available around the block too. Great place for students at OU.
This place is busy on football day.

For starters, the older man at the grill was actually kinda polite this time, however, once I got back home, less than 1mile, yes I drove. The bread tasted like day old and hard. The meat was a totally different experience as well. I have never complained about a restaurant before because I have once worked in one, but since the original owners of the GH left, it has declined. Sadly, today is my last day there

As I walked in I noticed a nice aroma from the rotating roasting meat behind the order counter. I ordered the gyro plate, tea, and baklava. I was given a number and sat and waited. Looking around I could tell the inside decor was a little bit banged up and aged but clean. Order came in short time and the amount of food was huge! It came with gyro, pita bread, fries, and salad. Everything tasted wonderful especially the baklava. The portions were more than I could eat at one seating and had to take some home. This place is less than a block away from OU and is very popular with students. Great place for a quick filling meal.

The food was delicious. The service was kind and fast. The atmosphere is a bit older but it is clean and comfortable. We will go again because of the kindness we received and the yummy food!

The gyro was very good. The restaurant is extremely hot. I witnessed the lady take the dirty red baskets and put them back in the stack for next orders. She then proceeded to prepare food with same gloves she used to touch dirty red baskets. This is a deal breaker for me

DO NOT GO HERE! This place used to be really good. The guy was rude and food was mediocre but the worst part was he was CLIPPING HIS NAILS IN THE KITCHEN NEAR THE FOOD. This place needs to be shut down. The most disgusting thing i’ve ever seen.

CASH only. They do have an ATM inside. Got gryo sandwich, very tasty beef gyro, and authentic feeling yogurt/hummus paste.
