My family and I decided on BBQ for Christmas so we placed our order online which was an easy process and picked it up on Christmas Eve. This was my first time going to Old Southern BBQ but it definitely won’t be my last. The food was delicious and the staff ensured me the food would be good and easy to warm up for Christmas Day and they were 10000% right. The ribs were meaty and tender. The chicken was flavorful and juicy. The pulled pork was delicious. The meat was so well cooked and seasoned so adding the BBQ sauce just took it up a notch. I was looking forward to trying the banana pudding but it was sold out. I took that as a good sign. Overall no complaints. I highly recommend!

The ribs here are really inconsistent. Sometimes it’s good, sometimes mediocre. Our most recent order was terrible. The ribs were so undercooked that the fat did not completely render, leaving tough, fatty parts on the ribs. Yuck. Photos attached.

I ordered breskit bbq last night with slaw and sweet potato, thought it will be a good time to enjoy bbq, i was shocked when they sent me a POS meat. Very gross, burned fatty tissue and no meat there. I had diarrhea after couple bites.

Food is absolutely delicious. Used them for catering before and stopped in for lunch for the first time. Both times were excellent. This is definitely a new favorite for me.

The smell of BBQ led me here for the first time and it didn’t disappoint! Got a BYOBowl , Brisket was tender and flavorful! Was only a little busy due to it being Father’s Day weekend but worth the wait!

The wings are a hit great smoky flavor and sauces are.good.
The ribs way too salty actually un eatable. Pork and chicken was average.
Brisket was mushy not smoked more steamed and pressure cooked no smoke ring no smoke flavor.
Sides ordered beans and bbq rice. Nothing to write home for.
Its an average bbq place if gonna stop order the wings and some of sauces as they are good

We are from CHICAGO… went to the Bears Vikings game on 11/16 and after we stopped by because it was also my sons bday (he’s the Vikings fan) and wanted ribs. The staff was amazing!!!! They told us about a few places we had to go check out before driving back home the next day! The food was great also! Thanks so much for the hospitality!! MN was great to us! BTW muffin tops are to diiiiie for imo!

I had the southern salad and wings and my husband had the platter of brisket wings and corn bread. We both thought the dry wings were bomb. I personally think they were one of the best wings I’ve had. I then had banana pudding which was also yummy. They gave it to me free for making a mistake on our order which I thought was very kind and considerate. We will definitely go back again. Good food and good people ☺️

Came here for the first time today and loved it! I ordered the brisket sandwich, sweet potatoes, Mac and cheese, and mashed potatoes. Everything came out relatively quick! The food itself was hot and delicious. If you are looking for affordable BBQ, I would highly recommend. It’s super inexpensive. I will say there is definitely better BBQ places however those places are usually way more expensive. For the price of this place, the quality is really good.

The food was absolutely delicious! Both my husband and I can’t wait to go back! We both left completely satisfied with the flavor, serving proportions, and our choices! We both got the Mac & Cheese and I got a pulled pork sandwich with a corn bread top! So good!
