Disclaimer: I am not an owner nor do I work at West Centennial Steakhouse. I have no friends or family that work at West Centennial.
The reason for the disclaimer is that I have posted West Centennial reviews in the past that were glowing. If I were to read them I would think that it was an employee review. No just a genuine member of this group that has taken a real liking to this restaurant.
On a previous visit I loved “Meatloaf Monday” and this Monday I had obligations so had to miss it. Talked hubs into going for breakfast on Tuesday. When the server came to take orders I ask if there was any meatloaf left over from yesterday. YES! Totally made my day. I ordered the meatloaf with brown gravy and a dinner salad on the side. The meatloaf was exactly like I remembered it! The dinner salad was so big I ended up taking half the meatloaf to go. The picture does not adequately show how large the serving of meatloaf was.
Hubs enjoyed the chicken fried steak breakfast and ended up asking for a to-go box.
Rarely do I order coffee. The coffee was great served hot and $2.50 with lots of refills. Served with real cream.
It is a large open area room with tables/chairs or a booth. Lots of seating a the bar. Bathrooms are spotless. Children are welcome until 10 pm. Greats children’s menu with $7 options
Compliments to Richard who enhanced the meal with excellent service.

Being from out of town and relying on reviews, we were extremely happy with our meals. I ordered the ribeye steak dinner with mashed potatoes and gravy with a salad. We got a side order of shrimp and a side order of sautéed mushrooms. My steak arrived hot, but slightly under cooked, but I didn’t complain as I would rather be slightly under cooked than well done. The steak was tender and delicious with a minimal amount of fat for a ribeye. The mushrooms lived up to their reputation. Each of our salads were large enough for two, if not three. The steak dinner came with toasted garlic bread. My wife and I shared the meal and took home leftovers. The waitress was friendly, but not very attentive.

Took a chance on Valentine Day after Church and were greeted at a table in the back by the pool tables that was dirty (people just left) that hostess said we could have after she cleared it. This is the forth time we’ve been here. I had Prime Rib special and my wife had her usual grilled Chicken salad. Dani was our waitress and she was excellent as they wre very busy. My dinner salad was fresh with some veggies and croutons on it, their Bleu Cheese dressing delicous. Ordered my Prime Rib MR, it was a little rare but I ate the cap which was medium and took the rest home for Sunday dinner. Bake potato was hot, and Texas toast was excellent. Had the chocolate lava cake for dessert (was included in special). The music is not blasting loud and is contempory so you can talk while having dinner without having to yell. Dani has waited on us before, she’s always been great but we’ve had great service from everyone and the food has been excellent. Inside is clean as is the restrooms.

Decided to check out a local steak spot because I was craving some. The service was excellent, Sarah was kind, frequently checked on us, answered all of our questions and went the extra mile to make sure we enjoyed our meals and drinks. The fried pickles were nice and crispy, which I love. The steak I originally ordered was well done, even though I ordered medium. After letting Sarah know, she put in an order to make a new one at the correct temp. The second stall was cooked perfectly. I got the petite sirloin which was the perfect amount of food. With it I ordered the chili and loaded mashed potatoes. Everything was delicious. It’s definitely somewhere locals to the neighborhood spend time. Kinda dark, definitely has that divey vibe, but in a good way. Looks can be deceiving, and I was very impressed. The peach Margarita was delicious and refreshing, and priced fairly. I’ll definitely be going back.

So I got the prime rib special. It was a bit on the salty side, which i really like i feel like it should be caked in salt before you cook it. Also they brought me the biggest thickest slice i have ever gotten in a restaurant. Their au jus was really good too. Nice and dark, some places give you this lighter color greasy stuff. This one was perfect.

My husband and I went on a date night which we don’t do very often so we wanted a nice place with yummy food and that’s exactly what we got, the food was delicious (real food) the service was excellent. We had a really good time and actually recommend it to a few of our friends. If you want a perfectly done steak this is your place.

We took mom here for a steak and so she could have a beer and play a game of pool. Her request. She loved it. There was some type of pool tournament going on, so she didn’t get to play pool. But it was a game show night , and we played and had a great time and laughed quite a bit. The service and the food were also extremely outstanding. We will definitely go back

The service is not good. Dani doesn’t work there anymore. Ever since she left the hiring has been so bad. Food even worse. Either over seasoned or bland depending on what you get. Had to ask for more drinks twice (in a bar). Servers don’t bus while they wait on tables either, they just let it pile up. Overall, they seem more concerned with hanging out with each other than serving their tables.

First experience at this ‘steak’ house as last time I was there it was packed and I walked away….sorry I did. Salad was good, steak was great and sweet potato fries were….hot? The steak and the salad were the impressive parts and I’ll go back for more and to try the breakfast menu. Service wasn’t bad, just disjointed…
