Our first time here. Sai was very hospitable and did an excellent job of recommending dishes. Service was warm, friendly and fast. Soni made us feel right at home.

The Gadbad chat was crispy, fresh and bursting with flavor. Strongly recommend it!

For the non-vegetarians Soni recommended the southern chicken which was a big hit! The coconut flavored curry was a nice change from the typical tomato based chicken curries.

Sai suggested the paneer kebab combo (Pahadi style) with dal makhani. Perfect level of spice. Paneer was fluffy and fresh.

I’m so glad I finally tried this place. I love Indian food and have been trying to find something fast casual nearby.
The Butter Masala classic curry with chicken and rice was very good. The chicken seemed to be dark meat, but it was high quality. The sauce was flavorful with just the right amount of heat. Basmati rice was perfectly cooked. The naan was thinner than most and just a bit crispy, but good. My mango lassi was enjoyable as well. Also of note – portions were generous.
Counter service was professional and knowledgeable when I ordered, and they checked in during my meal to make sure everything was good.
The atmosphere was pleasant – modern and clean.
Definitely recommended if you’re looking for a modern, casual Indian restaurant.

Tonight I chose chicken biryani. As always, the food here is always on point. Normally I order chicken korma, which for me is the best in town.

Pretty good place for having Desi food. You definitely should try their Paneer and Chicken pizza. We have used their catering service for our big parties for more than 7 years. Always the same consistency with great food. No one had any complaints. Exceptions, their Hakka noodles definitely need some improvements.

Deepak is an excellent person. He is managing this location.

The restaurant was well maintained, and was neat. You can find your own table after ordering your food. We ordered a 3 piece aachari paneer kebab that were good. The dip that was given was delicious with the very soft paneer. Paneer Butter Masala was declared as the very best, and delicious in the entire universe by my 6 year old, and it did taste good. We ordered bhutta simla mirch paneer curry, and that tasted good as well. The butta curry portion was too small for $13 and felt it was slightly more than the kids portion of the paneer butter masala.

The best takeaway was the naan. They were extremely soft, and thin, easy to eat, and fresh. They were so soft and piping hot, you cannot help but pop them into your mouth to feel the soft naan with some hot paneer curry. If not for the portions, I would have given another star, but the price and the portions didn’t seem to match. Will definitely return again though, as the food was good. The server even came back and asked us how the food was.

We recently catered from here for an event at home. Deepak ji was extraordinarily helpful. Such an amazing person. The food was fresh and absolutely delicious. Every guest appreciated the food. We had ordered kababs, gadbad chat, butter chicken, dabba chicken, naan and sweets. 100% recommend

O’Desi is an Asian Indian “fusion food” restaurant. The food, service, and atmosphere are average. Trust me when I say that a visit to this restaurant is no odyssey!!
This was a novelty when it was new. The menu, however, hasn’t changed in a few years (probably not since the establishment opened but I/we wouldn’t know). The base ingredients, for the vegetarian entrees, only consists of 2 or 3 items served in different combinations which when you think about it is a pretty good business model but doesn’t leave one desiring to revisit it.
I should note that the Chaat choices are the most interesting and tasty menu items.
The owners have been jacking up the prices continually to the point where there’s no value in visiting this eatery especially when there are much better [Indian restaurant] options within a 2 mile radius.

The food is overpriced for not enough. As in the combo, is just some rice with dal and a curry. The rice they give is too less for the amount of curry and dal given. So ideally you should get roti or naan but it’s not included you have to order separate. I mean after charging 12 bucks for a combo I again have to order sides. Not the best place for work lunches. Combo is not worth money. Others are fine. Taste is fine except they tend to be sweeter than preferred.

We went to dine in yesterday, the food here is awesome, service is good and the staff are really friendly, I especially loved their noodles and dabba chicken they were flavorful without being extremely spicy like other restaurants.

I’m starting dabble in the Indian/ Paki foods and restaurants…..they are all over the place in Frisco ….. I usually order the same common dishes….tikka masala chicken 65 and a chicken biryani…..not bold enough to try mutton yet…..and yes I come to learn it’s all very different even tho it’s all the same dish……the gravy wasn’t like addicting like other places …. Chicken was ok….i wasn’t really blown out my seat!
