Me and the coworker came here after work for some dinner. The service here was great. The food was tasty and a margaritas were perfect. I had the chile verde with some corn tortillas. It was very tasty. Reminded me of Grandmas house. My coworker had that carne asada plate with flour tortillas. He enjoyed his meal very much. When I have to visit Montrose again, I will definitely visit this establishment for some good Mexican food and delicious Margaritas.

Hit this gem on the way back from a long day of snowboarding at Monarch mountain, and it HIT. I got the jimador burrito which sent me into a happy, food-stuffed stupor that I cannot even put to words. It’s been a while since I’ve had Mexican food, and the craving has been immense! This place hit the spot just right. It could have been my extreme hunger from hitting the slopes all day, or it could have been the fact that the carne asada was perfectly cooked and tender, the refried beans and rice combining into a beautiful medley of flavors in my mouth. Wow. Also, great atmosphere. Heard a bunch of ladies behind me spilling the montrose town gossip, and it was juicy! So and so dating so and so’s ex, did you hear he hooked up with her the same day he broke up with her? Got the town scoop and a great burrito. 5/5 experience.

I purchased a tampiqueña. It is the first time I tried the way this restaurant offer it. Not good. Not spicy. Chips got an old oil flavor.

My spouse and I found ourselves in need of a speedy food stop, and our trusted friend recommended this local gem – a Mexican restaurant that left us utterly amazed! From the complimentary chips and salsa to the outstanding service provided by Louis, our dining experience was nothing short of exceptional.

For our meal, I opted for the Supreme burrito, and as you can discern from the accompanying photo, it was a colossal delight. While our meal wasn’t served on traditional plates due to our time constraints (we had to rush back to Denver), the presentation was still top-notch. The flavors were absolutely sensational, and we couldn’t have been more pleased with our choice.

To begin with, let’s talk about the welcoming atmosphere of the restaurant. As soon as we stepped inside, we were greeted by warm smiles and an inviting ambiance. The interior decor exuded a charming Mexican aesthetic, transporting us to a different world, albeit briefly. It was evident that the establishment took pride in creating an authentic experience for its patrons.

One of the highlights of our visit was the complimentary chips and salsa that were brought to our table as soon as we were seated. The salsa had just the right balance of spice and flavor, while the chips were perfectly crisp and served warm. It’s these small gestures that set a restaurant apart, and we appreciated the effort made to start our dining experience on a positive note.

Now, let me take a moment to commend our waiter, Louis. His attentiveness and friendly demeanor added a personal touch to our meal. He was well-versed in the menu, making excellent recommendations and ensuring that our dining experience was smooth and enjoyable. Kudos to Louis for his exceptional service!

Now, let’s delve into the culinary delights we savored. The Supreme burrito, as I mentioned earlier, was a true masterpiece. Packed to the brim with flavorful ingredients, it was a sight to behold. The generous portions made it clear that this restaurant believes in providing value for money. The combination of tender, well-seasoned meat, fresh vegetables, and a delectable sauce created a harmonious blend of flavors that left us craving for more.

The presentation of the dish was impeccable, even though we didn’t get the traditional plate. Each element was artfully arranged, showcasing the attention to detail that went into the preparation of our meal. It’s evident that the chefs take pride in their craft, and their dedication to delivering an authentic Mexican culinary experience shines through in every bite.

While we wished we could have lingered longer and tried more dishes from the extensive menu, our tight schedule required us to eat quickly and depart promptly. Despite the time constraints, the staff ensured that our meal was served promptly, allowing us to enjoy our food without any unnecessary delays.

In conclusion, our visit to this local Mexican restaurant was a delightful experience from start to finish. The warm ambiance, complimentary chips and salsa, and the exceptional service provided by Louis set the stage for a memorable meal. The Supreme burrito was a true highlight, a mouthwatering masterpiece that showcased the restaurant’s commitment to delivering authentic Mexican cuisine.

If you’re in the area and craving authentic Mexican food served with a side of hospitality, I wholeheartedly recommend giving this restaurant a try. Whether you have the luxury of a leisurely meal or need to grab a quick bite like we did, you’re bound to be impressed by the flavors and service that await you here.

In the future, we’ll definitely be making a return visit to savor more of the tantalizing dishes on their menu. Thank you to the entire team at this wonderful establishment for making our dining experience so enjoyable.

We’ve chose not to say anything about the service here in the past. Sometimes it’s just the server. However, it’s never changed in all our visits. The service is always so bad that we are waiting with anticipation for the other restaurant on the south side to open back up.

We ordered the combination fajitas which was chicken, beef and shrimp. What we got was a plate full of onions, green bell peppers, red bell peppers and small pieces of chicken and beef and 3 shrimp. There was just small nuggets of chicken and beef when it should be long sliced beef and chicken plus the flavor was none existent. Now to be fair we are from Houston and we go all the time to a Mexican restaurant and get the combo fajitas for one and it will feed 2 people with some left over and the taste is great. So we got the fajitas for 1 and a small cheese dip and 2 sodas for almost $50 including tip. DEFINITELY not worth it.

I placed a take out order. I ordered the pollo asado, which comes with beans rice and guacamole. The chicken itself was decent, the beans and rice were very hard, the guacamole was salty. Overall it was a very disappointing meal.

The atmosphere was great, the wait staff were almost too good at asking if everything was alright. The food was very good. I thought the prices were a little on the expensive side though. Over all, I’d go again and try something different.
